Week 6 Class work. 15min sketches and thumbnails with refined thumbnail with lighting.

Week 5 classwork. 15 min block sketch on image and learned about thumbnails. Created my own brush for the first time. I can’t believe it’s so easy.

In week 3, we touch on colours. It talks about the different type of colour harmonies and their common uses. I tried complementary, triad, analogous on my week 2 drawing of the veteran warrior. The reason for trying a different colour harmony each time was for myself to see how the different colours palette would affect the drawing

Week 2 Classwork

First up is a 10min sketch based on the picture [side note: the face i drew looks funny now that i look at it xD]

Next up is 3 thumbnail design on a Sci-fi season veteran of war who has a preference for larger style weapons. (just my kind of thing)

Will be posting again later on my Flats in Gray artwork for the girl.

My work in progress (first sketch) for my fan art on seven knight’s Spike ♥

I’m not sure if I want to do a design on his outfit-- more towards character design or illustration yet. 

Pros and cons: design a new outfit for him in the game or to draw a badass drawing of him since there aren’t many, otherwise,  non-existence.

In week 1 of Digital painting class we were given a limited amount of time to sketch out the girl in the image. After, we started to get into digital painting in itself where I tried digital painting for the first time. I think I’m going to work on gray scale first before coming back to colours :| I dont know how to blend well..
