In the tree-stump tombstone, 2 hands emerge from the opening in the bark of the tree. The 2 hands are depicted clasping a chain. The hand at the top is a male's hand, the shirt cuff is square, unadorned, & masculine. The hand below is the hand of a woman because of the fluted & lace sleeve. Here the 7-link chain symbolizes the tender bonds of marriage. The motif is an expression of marriage being a path to completeness on Earth, that the couple holds onto even to death, "unto death do us part."

Have politicians and oligarchs always been this fucking pathetic, or is this new? It's hard to take evil people seriously when they act like this, and I'm 99% sure that's why they do it. It's performative, it gives them plausible deniability, "they're not evil, they're just stupid." They're underestimated and downplayed, just another distraction.
