Came across this art installation, Liza Lou's Kitchen, at the Whitney Museum of American Art, NYC. It's a kitchen made of tiny glass beads, that artist Liza Lou did, taking 5 yrs. to complete, from 1991 - 1996.

The first 2 minutes of Chainsmoker Cat: Haha catgirl smokes and goes poopie
The next 20 minutes: This woman copes through self destructive habits at the expense of everything else yet she can't help but act upon because it's the only thing that gives her comfort in a world that is hostile at every turn to her and her people, every cigarette that she smokes is a cry for help and validation that she is a good person.
The Bunte Kuh by Hans Bordt, 1911
The Bunte Kuh (colourful cow) was probably snekkja, often depicted as a cog, which as one of the flagships of the Hanseatic fleet (she was the flagship of the city of Hamburg) led the attack on the German pirate Klaus Störtebeker in 1401.

"Marth's team experimented with a dose of Salmonella so low that there were no significant symptoms."
Marth's team experimented with a dose of Salmonella so low that there were no significant symptoms or death, and all of the Salmonella were successfully eliminated by the host. "This type of study had never been done before and the results were shocking," says Yang. "We observed the onset of a progressive and irreversible inflammatory disease caused by previous infections. That was quite surprising because the pathogen had been easily cleared by the host." By the fourth infection, which had been separated months apart from the first, the inflammation had steadily increased and colitis was now present in all subjects. Surprisingly, the disease did not improve despite the cessation of repeated infections -- indicating that the damage was already done. "We have discovered an environmental and pathogenic origin of chronic intestinal inflammation in the course of modeling human food poisoning as it occurs repeatedly over the adult lifespan," explains Marth. "Remarkably, Salmonella have figured out a way to disrupt a previously unknown protective mechanism in the gut that normally prevents intestinal inflammation."
Small bacterial infections that may go unnoticed and which the body easily clears without treatment, such as occurs during mild food poisoni
Since there is a wave of anti-birth control propaganda, this is your reminder that the birth coontrol pill was responsible for 30% more women graduating with college degrees between 1970-1990
Also a whole lot of people need it to hold down a job or stay in school regardless of reproductive risk: it offers menstrual control. It can be the difference between debilitating, bedbound periods and normal function. It’s medicine. It’s also very cheap to produce and returns soooo many thousands of dollars to the economy for every dollar it costs, so don’t let anyone make a false financial argument about it.
