Walking around an old part of Downtown Tucson that hasn’t been bulldozed or remodeled for some towering apartment or other building. We looked up and what did we see? Looks like 1950 Dodge heading south on 6th ave. I was showing Haylie the old 6th ave bridge and how unique it was to this area of town. That moment when art imitates life more than life imitating art. 25yrs of holding on to these two pieces of pottery. They were my very first but never really used them much only moving them from box to box place to place until they came crashing down today on the garage floor. But I always kept them as mementos as my “first editions”. I still have many much nicer pieces we still use daily. But found this a bit symbolic as I was sweeping up the no longer useable pieces of pieces I never really used.
