I am disgusted by anyone who voted that man in to be our #47 President.
When the rich in this country get another tax break, when middle class and lower class get nothing, when prices skyrocket because of tariffs imposed on imported goods, when women’s rights are stripped away even more than they are now, when the Proud Boys, the Neo-Nazis, the KKK, and White Nationalists are given a seat at the table and are free to attack the Jews, Blacks, Latinos, Asians, and other minorities, when LBTQ+ rights are diminished, when mass deportation begins for people who are here legally, when the press and people speaking out against him are arrested, when Putin, Kim Jong Un, and Xi Jinping are given free rein over countries they want to take over, when he goes after his perceived enemies including the press and anyone who speaks out against him, when programs to protect our planet are gone, when the most unqualified people are put in charge of government agencies, when Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and other programs that help people are stripped away, when arts funding is gone, when people lose their health insurance and protection for preexisting conditions are gone, and we become the laughing stock of the world again, I will blame all of you for putting a racist, narcissistic, lying, corrupt, misogynistic, xenophobic, felonious sex offender con man in charge of our country instead of one of the most competent and experienced candidates that has ever run for office. As much damage as he did when he was in charge before, it will be so much worse now, because there will be no checks and balances, and no one to keep him in line. I am ashamed to be an American under that man’s leadership. I am horrified that the person who has shown himself to be of the lowest moral character will be the leader of our country again and I know he will do all he can to enrich himself, his family and cronies off the office of the Presidency and the hard working people of this country. He did it before and he’ll do it again x 10. Wait and see. Now we all get to share in the tragedy of watching him dismantle our Democracy.
Today I feel like I’m without a country.
