Look, this is going to seem unexpected, and like I said, I really couldn’t care less about this. But if you have the computer skills you claim, I need a favor. And if you can’t help me, I need a lead to someone who can.

Okay, you seriously need to chill. The whole concept of coming out of the womb into techy crap and nerd camp scares me.
I don’t think my folks know the meaning of chill, but I’ll do my best. It scares us all, but for some it’s just unavoidable.

I know, it’s not an easy thing to get packed up to move all the way to New York. I hope you get a little time to enjoy yourself before you go into packing mode, Mike. It really is though, I can’t wait. Sounds good man, you got it! App development… oh man, that’s over my head.
I’m going to try man, I’m going to try. Believe me, I want a break this summer more than anything. Well, maybe not anything, I want to get the hell out of Lima a bit more. Yeah, better not to get into that kind of stuff and leave it to the kids.

As would mine! But sometimes you’re weaker with no rest! At least, that’s what I say. Well good, I was just making sure; exactly. It’s very important. It was wonderful actually, thank you! Wish I could have stayed for longer. That’s right, you will be there too. There’s several of you that will be. Thank you, Mike. Yeah, that starts up again Monday.
I think I like what you say better. Glad to hear the trip was all good, nowadays I welcome all good news no matter how mundane. That’s right, there will be. I know Finn and Kurt are headed to New York, and Tina too, which I couldn’t be happier about.

Sam: Oh okay, that doesn't sound too bad. Chilling, mainly swimming with my siblings and working at The Bean.
Mike: Sounds like the good life. This summer has been pretty chill, which I'm thankful for.

So my asking could be worse. Interesting. What exactly is it used for?
Games and app development, that sort of thing. I don’t think you’re too interested in hearing about computer science, though.

It was true, Sam was there for Mike when he needed the help and Mike was just trying to do the same. He couldn’t shut down his help. To know he had someone that he can go to for guidance really made a difference. Slowly nodding, Sam looked up with a smile to Mike. “I know and thank you” He said once again. The bigger topic was about A and what was going on there not this. The taunts were one thing but there was so much to that Sam probably didn’t know. He had been going off what he knew or saw. Mike didn’t know about the homecoming, but Sam didn’t know what all happened at homecoming either or any other events. “Correct me if I’m wrong but were there a line of cheerios at the party? I thought I saw them.” He asked as he was finally picturing the stairs. The small crunch from stepping on one and then seeing as he rushed to the bathroom he thought he saw them.
“I don’t know, For awhile Kurt has been distant and hasn’t been hurt but than there’s Jesse and I’m not just saying that because I don’t care for the guy. But it was man’s figure on homecoming night.” Their voices kept hushed as they continued talking. Just having Mike’s company was making this and him feel better about everything.
Mike was surprised when Sam brought up the cheerios at the party. It took him a second to even remember what the guy was talking about, but then it came back to him. “Oh yeah.” He’d been so distracted that night having found Sam immediately after noticing the cereal that it completely slipped his mind. “Yeah, I remember stepping on some when Finn and I initially went looking for you. That was seriously one of the most out of place things I’ve ever seen.” That was saying a lot, he was in glee club. In all honesty though, it was weird as hell and suspicious to boot. “Do you think it could have meant something? It could have been a fluke, unless you think A or one of their team was at the party.” Actually, maybe they were. The problem with not being able to trust anyone.
“We can’t consider someone A just because they haven’t been hurt. Tina hasn’t been injured and she’s not A.” Well, there was no solid proof of that but he refused to believe the woman he loved was a psychopathic murderer, and seeing her after every incident involving A, he just knew in his gut it couldn’t be her. “I mean, technically Sugar hasn’t been injured either. Jesse on the other hand, well, there’s something shady about him. Maybe he’s not A but he’s involved somehow. I think there has to be some kind of connection between Hunter, Jesse and Sebastian.” The former Dalton boys didn’t really seem to fit in around McKinley, and there was something off about all of them. Even if he was working with Hunter, or used to before he went missing, he didn’t trust him worth a dime.

…okay, I know the point of this is to have someone talk to you about something other that what you mentioned, but what is C++?
Well, at least you’re not under twelve. It’s a computer programming language. I realized after I posted it that no one has a clue what I’m talking about.

But that’s still not much rest before you get moving again. I hope you find some downtime somewhere. I’ve been pretty good actually, thanks, Mike. Had a little trip to New York and now I’m getting ready for late summer classes.
Rest is for the weak, at least that’s probably what my parents would say. I make time for friends, it’s the last time I’ll really get to see them before I head off to college anyway. Nice, how was the city? Seriously, I could probably stand to hear more about it before I move there. Glad you had a nice trip though before you go back to hitting the books.

Damn, that’s all you get? Well, look at it this way then, once you get to New York the real fun begins, right? I guess you’re right about that, idle hands are the devil’s something something. I forget how the rest of it goes. Totally dude, I’m up for that any time! Oh… yeah?
I might be exaggerating a little, but considering how much I still need to do before I move it feels like even less. Man, once we get to New York it’s going to be amazing. Anything has got to be better than this. Hah, pretty much. Awesome, I’ll catch you this weekend then. Yeah, the kids are into app development. It’s a whole thing.

I swear they have some weird Asian Camp for everything. I’ve heard way too many stories from Tina for there to be a normal amount of nerd fests.
Asians like to hone their skills from a young age. It was this or engineering.

So you’re a computer junkie. Normally I really wouldn’t care about something like that, but around here, I’d consider that skill pretty useful.
Something like that. I’ve always been really good with computers, probably get it from my dad. Useful, though?

Sam: Yea aren't you away at Asian Camp or are you back now? I'm doing good, out of those hospital scrubs and feeling a lot better.
Mike: It's a day camp so I'm only there during the day. Doesn't make it any less exhausting. I'm glad you're good. What have you been up to all summer?
Of course I am. Consider this a free trial to my Kitty gives tips on how to survive a nightmarish summer camp kit. And more than likely, they will but seeing as how camp will be ending soon, I think you might be in good hands. Plus, consider the bragging rights. They could hang your picture in the mess hall as some sort of a martyr for getting these nerds out from in front of the computer.
I’m curious what comes in the premium version of that kit. It did work by the way, well not at first but then I got creative with the kids and it did. I’m pretty sure I’m like a camp hero among the counselors right now and I only have you to thank for that.

Oh Mike, that’s awful. You should be enjoying your summer before college starts up! I hope you’re at least going to take a little time for yourself soon enough.
Don’t worry, it’s not completely awful, just completely exhausting. Camp ends soon and I’ll catch a break then. Just in time to start getting ready to move. How have you been?
You’re playing it, too safe. Make it a game. Whoever completes the birdhouse gets to use the internet first. You gotta restore order or they’re gonna keep walking all over you. Grow a backbone, man.
