I'm curious though you said that the reader is from another world and since reader keeps running away from the Fragaria from continent to continent.
Wouldn't the reader like start questioning or try to find the way back to their world? Wouldn't they feel a bit homesick staying there? And most importantly..
Who would try to stop the reader from going back to their world? I mean all of them would sabotage the reader but still I'm curious who would like hide or remain acting clueless maybe kept to themselves if they ever found a way for the reader back to their world?

Oh shi that come to my mind multiple times while writing that. I forgot to mention that reader doesn't only go kingdom to kingdom to escape from the yans, they also try to find a way out but these fragarias have have no idea except for hangyon and cielomort but they're a gate keeper like that.
And yes most of them is not gonna tell if they ever found out. Except for the one who is terrible at keeping secrets who might accidentally hint to reader.
The greatest examples are arupek and rimicha.
But for who would stop i feel like they all would try in their own way, most of them will try to appeal to reader as much as possible or some might even try to make themselves feel like safe space for reader( cough cough romarriche) so they don't get home sick.

kurode will started to rely on them more and more for comfort, that is not good for him to be relying on someone this much. He make reader uncomfortable with his need for your approval.
Myunna is still a yandere after all , just alot more softer and can be interpreted as both romantic, and platonic he is still sabotaging reader since if they stay with him any longer they will no longer know how to do any basic stuff themselves, and only relying on myunna
Also including sanah cause i got lazy with his part lolol. Sanah is still with his group of red bouquet he is often in need to be closer to you, always sitting beside you (if he ever got the seat first cause rimicha is also clingy to reader) and he literally refused to let you have a time to think for yourself. This guy gotta interrupt everything and find a way to be close to you.

Badobarm is an overprotective yandere, badobarm like when people rely on him, especially YOU. Arupek is curious about you, you don't look like you're from here make him wanna know about you more. While you were trying to get out of pekkle kingdom as soon as possible, but when you're about to get up and find a way off, he crashed straight on to you while trying to use glider. And this is when first love started to grow on him.
Arupek is a clingy type of yandere, this guy is just as scary as rimicha but at least he doesn't constantly whining. Still,He literally refused to leave you alone, and would never let you go anywhere without him, and even invaded your personal space causally. He go as far as managing to convince people you're his darling, Which you're obviously not but he is too deep in obsession for him to care about that fact.

Chaco is a manipulative type of yandere, although he is different from merold or cielomort. He mostly targeted people who enjoy your presence, especially if they somehow have a crush on you which is least likely, in this kingdom due to people thinking you're dating him now, i mean he is always beside you, calling you nicknames like you're his.
Finding out the tuxedo sam kingdom is heavily leaning to darlings right, felt like a relief. Knowing the fragaria there might fall for you somehow but, he probably wouldn't be bad and you might feel alot more comfortable being in this kingdom.
Yeah how wrong can you be, don't you remember they're all someway insane?
This tuxam guy is somehow manage to be more insufferable than arupek despite his kingdom leaning alot more to darling side compared to pekkle's.
Tuxam is a controlling and possessive yandere. With all of that rules being a apply to him he still can be extremely controlling. Telling you who you can speak to who you shouldn't speak to and how you're not allowed to go outside alone without him besides you, even with small things tuxam will still criticise you, how he wanted you to dress like, and what food should you eat.
and he is making it impossible for you to even leave, in red bouquet you escaped because they're too distracted with their duties and stuff so you eventually find a way out of rimicha sight, in blue continent you can escape because most of them is pretty easy to sneak out at night, cause they don't really sleep beside you like tuxam did.
While you were about to go to sleep both hears a loud noises outside, after tuxam tell you to stay here and he will check out.
While you were alone, you immediately try to find a way to escape hopefully tuxam wouldn't be back way too fast.
checking on the windows, while you can break it with a furniture it's pretty obvious tuxam will notice it, and immediately head back you might not be running for too long before he gets you. Probably would be alot stricter and more demanding.
Being lost in thoughts, you failed to notice the mist slowly surrounding but you before you could say anything. Someone's hands that is definitely not tuxam was over you mouth before everything goes black.

He introduced himself as hangyon, he is extremely energetic and physically affectionate toward you, if you think rimicha and arupek is overwhelming, hangyon is alot more worser than that.
Hangyon can be considered every type of yandere except for the sadistic one. He give you alot more freedom but don't mistake that, he keeps an eye on you alot especially when you try to be sneaky. He will somehow appear out of nowhere and drag you out of there immediately.
You manage to slip out of hangyon sight, it was a little too easy and it makes you alot more suspicious. But after experiencing these kinght going carzy for you, and knowing that kerokeropi fragaria will probably be another one. You decided to lay low, you will just go to kerokeropi kingdom to maybe take sometimes for yourself to think about where you should go.
But life refuses to give you some breaks
Pikero has been studying about the genes in yandere and darlings, with you being from another world it's exactly like cielomort, pikero can tell you're not from this continent nor you were born from this world.

after you arrived at cinnamon roll kingdom, he immediately try to approach you and act as a guide to this kingdom. Knowing that you have no idea he is a fragaria. He assumed you got out of red continent somehow because the kinght there are a little too overwhelming, which is right.
Cielomort is an manipulative and maybe a little bit possessive type of yandere. he always try to get on your good side all the time,trying to appeal to you as much as possible.
But as for someone like cielomort he wouldn't try anything physical, after all he was taught that it has to be the last thing on his mind he do to appeal to a darling.
Kurode is normal about you at first he doesn't think you're a darling meant for him but.. oh well
He later realised his feelings for you and how much you mean to him, never treating him as the second to his brother. (Yeah because merold is kinda scary back when you're still in red continent) You even said that you would rather be with himself instead.
Kurode is an Obsessive type, his reason is pretty similar to rimicha but he rather admire you as someone who see him outside of being merold brother, rather than wanting your praises or validation all the time. your words still affected his behaviour alot, making him more confident.
Obviously you didn't completely cure his infiority complex, but it make him seen himself more, that's enough for him to call you his.
Willmesh doesn't appear often surprisingly he is quite nervous around you. making you thought he is a darling, finally someone who isn't carzy.
After you finally get some alone time with him. Thinking he is a darling you ask him how to deal with the yandere who fall for you, he is a little shocked about the story that you've told. But actually give you a good advice although a little poorly explained, it's ok you'll take what you've got.

Willmesh is a stalker type of yandere, you can inculde obsessive too if you want, he is very sneaky about it, due to his gentle feminine like appearances including the quiet reserved personality, it's easy to mistaken him as a darling.
He follows you around all the time, learning your habit, what you like, what you dislike. Even if with opportunity to get closer to you, he doesn't want to risk getting found out and losing your trust. He takes pictures of you, write something he learned from stalking you, including making a character based off you.
Louterstella is doubtful about you, just like anyone else when he first seen. A person with a gentle aura like him remind you of someone back in red bouquet... But you're alot more comfortable around louterstella.
Louterstella slowly warm up to being with you. He is pleasant to be around with his compassion and gentleness. You spend sometimes with him and you already think he is the one who is really normal after all. Yes he is obviously a yandere but he doesn't have any romantic feelings for you...?
Louterstella is a possessive type of yandere. now don't get me wrong he isn't that extreme, maybe he IS but not in an aggressive way, most of his reasons is wanting to be by your side forever.

Myunna is a clingy type of yandere but harmless, he would never try to drive anyone away from you nor act violently. His yandere traits are from his deep devotion for you. He handled everything for you, cooking, handling where you should go. Basically he is your best friend right now.. maybe you both could be more than that..?

Romarriche is an overprotective and obsessive yandere but he isn't like hallritt, he is more of wanting to take care of you, making you relying on him and him only. Even calling him the "safe" zone for you is making him fall for you even harder.
he enjoyed being your comfort person and enjoy when you talk about your problem to him or how much you missed your home.

Rimicha is very sure you are the darling that is meant for him, whenever you praise his magic or when you call him cute. He can feel it's from your heart, and not like other darlings he has met, many of them is annoyed by his over bearing and mostly talk behind his back.
Rimicha is a clingy type of yandere. He is literally always near you, and would probably never leave you alone. he crave being praised by you and your presence and needs a constant validation from you.
Sanah is neutral about you at first he still act like his usual sunshine self. he was kind of curious about how did you get here and enjoyed talking to you alot. Making it almost he wouldn't be another one who will turn obsessive.
Sanah is a clingy type of yandere, he isn't as annoying as rimicha and you could even call him decent compare to other fragaria. He love being close to you, and try to have a conversation with you whenever he get a chance. He can be physically affectionate too just anyway he can be close to you is fine.

Normalize yandere au are in It's name. People with yandere behaviour are normalize within the society and people treated them like a normal your avarge joe that you meet at work.
And i probably don't have to explain what a yandere is since everyone and their mom knows already but if you dont know here is the explanation.
What are darlings in this au?
Basically someone who is normal. They're more of a normal people than a submissive type of person. Although there is a stereotype that darlings are weak and submissive but in this world most people no longer hold on to that but there is still some individual (usually older) who still believes in the sterotype.
Why are all fragaria yanderes?
you might think it's because it's for the plot and yes it is for the plot and my enjoyment for yandere tropes but there is an explanation.
Isn't darlings also the same as the lords?
No not exactly. The lords aren't suppose to be included in the norms darling or yandere because non of them is born from this world. They get invited by the strawberry king therefore they're not categorised as "yandere" or "darlings" since the labels are for someone in this world. It's considered disrespectful to call any if the lord darling or yandere. Although most of the lord can excuse it for someone who is like you(mc) who is from the other world, and has no idea about these type of stuff. But they don't want to be called any of it more than one time.

Yes this is an x reader so obviously the protagonist is going to be YOU or your yumesona/sona.
Is the reader considered a darling?
I mean.. yes and no? Because you're from the other world but you aren't invited by the strawberry king nor any of the lord, It's just like you got pulled into this world by a glitch or a mistake.
Although the fragaria consider you as darling since, if you didn't tell any of them you're not from this world, you will be considered as a darling.

Absolutely yes! Platonic yandere do exist but it might not be the main focus since as for myunna he has a romantic feelings for mc, but i will not write any suggestive stuff about him.

Yes! But the bonds are completely different from the yans fragaria x reader, but mostly they're just very protective of their lord, and the relationship is more healthy.
How much can a yandere get away with their crime?
It really depends on the kingdom you're in! Some can be extremely strict about it (tuxedo sam kingdom)
Some can even be very chill about it (hanyodon kingdom)
How do people find out they're a yandere or a darling?
mostly people based it off on how you acted when you're a teenager, but before that people used to assume your role when you're a kid but many got mistaken as darling so they changed it to discussing when you're a teenager.

Man im very interested in writing normalised yandere au for fragmem. I have been reading it for a while now and i honestly loved the concept.
But i genuinely just sucks at harem type of stuff, (ex: date a live fragmem au) but I feel like date a live make me focus on more how character developed and it's the reason why i give up on the series.
