Biography
The Basics
Name: Lucine Monet Species: Vampire Age: 242 Age when turned: 25
FC: Keira Knightley
Humanity (1773-1797)
Like any vampire, Lucine was once a human girl. She lived in France, and was the daughter of a wealthy family. It was during the French Revolution that she was wedded off to a general of Napoleon Bonaparte’s army. He was a cruel man, never showing Lucine any affection. He would talk down on her and belittle her. She would refuse to lay with him as long as she could, until he would demand it of her, to do her one job as a woman and as his wife. If she refused, he would force himself upon her. Lucine grew to hate this man, whom she had married at the young age of 16.
She never would have guessed he was so cold on their wedding day. It was a betrothal, of course, as was custom in that time period. Her father loyally served Napoleon, and to show his support for the kings cause, he wedded his daughter to his most prized general. Although the evil man he revealed himself to be, at first, he was tender. Lucine had met him a week prior to their wedding, where he joked with her, where they giggled, and where he laid a first kiss upon her. She was full of butterflies, and she at first believed that there was no better man set out for her. She thanked her father a hundred fold for making such a brilliant match.
At first, they were happy. But as the war continued - Things changed. He came home angry, and he came home drunk, or with a whore on his arm, or with a lustful gaze in his eyes for the wife he began to neglect. She loved him not, it didn’t take long for her to hate him. They fought like animals, he would come home plastered and she would yell at him, insult him, throw things at him for how he treated her, and in return he would yell and belittle her, hit her, or do whatever he could to establish his power and dominance over her.
When Lucine turned 24 she was with child. Her husband had started to wonder if she was even fertile, commenting on the fact that she never did her duty as a woman to him, even when all she had to do was lay there and behave. She was only his to look pretty, like an ornament on a shelf, or a paperweight. She wasn’t there for her opinion, for her wits or her personality. She was there for her beauty. She had an appearance that men lusted over, everyone but her husband was in love with her. To her husband, she was a pawn for him to use to his own benefit.
The Turn (1798)
While her husband was in the field, the war still alive, Lucine went into labor. She was alone at home when it began, and ran out into the streets, searching for someone that would find her a doctor as she filled with the pain of contractions. As she screamed in the middle of the empty and dead night, a man approached her. He claimed to be a doctor, and put his arm around her. She invited him inside, grateful that her luck would have that a physician was passing through just as she began to feel the pains of childbirth.
The man was collected and kind to her, but once the child was born, she found it was dead. It was a stillborn, and just like that, Lucine snapped. She had been so joyous and excited for this child, for a baby that would reestablish the meaning in her life - And here the dead child was before her. The physician was overwhelmed with her beauty, and with her blood staining the sheets, he was overcome. She had cried and cried about her miserable life to him, and he found it quite pathetic. So he didn’t fight the urge, like he normally would. Normally he was above that, he was a physician, but in that moment, his judgement lapsed. He dug his fangs into her neck, sucking the blood out of her body. She nearly died before she started to cry, begging him to stop, telling him she wanted to live, telling him that she wanted to make her life something more before she was done.
The physician’s humanity came back to that moment, looking at the beautiful, miserable face he was about to rid the world of. He knew he’d regret it, but he gave her his blood - And knowing that if she didn’t have incentive to leave the situation - He snapped her neck just after. He told her he would help her, told her that she needed to feed - So when her husband came home later that night, he was her prey. And later she abandoned that physician, wanting no reminders of her stillborn daughter, she fled France and never looked back.

Thread rules:
Please don’t harass for a reply, I get to them in as timely a manner as I can.
if I intend to drop a thread I will notify you. In the event that I do drop our thread, that doesn’t mean I don’t like you, it just means that I lost the muse for it, so if such happens, I will also ask if we can re-plot and start a new one. I’ll say it again: IF I DROP A THREAD IT DOES NOT MEAN I DISLIKE YOU OR YOUR WRITING
If you want to ship, let me know! I ship with chemistry, but if you’re wanting to see if our characters could test the waters, let me know, we can work towards it.
I will not smut someone under 18. If we are roleplaying we will use fade to black. If you are over 18 but I have even just a hunch that you are not, I will politely tell you I’d like to use fade to black. Underage smutting is ILLEGAL.
If we roleplay smut, please put it under “Keep Reading” and tag it accordingly. If you don’t know how to do this, ask and I will tell.
OOC shenanigans:
Drama in character is great (actually, I prefer it) but OOC I won’t tolerate it. If you dislike me, keep it to yourself, I will do the same. Gossip is also not tolerated.
I only give out my skype to mutuals.
Do not ask me for information such as: Where I live, what uni I go to, what my job is, my surname, or anything else that I deem adequate information to locate me with. If you ask, I’ll just tell you no. If you keep badgering me, I will block you.
