Digital illustration Number 2
This is another digital illustration that i created using Procreate, this image is created and influenced by a film ‘the princess diaries’ from my childhood and it is one of my comfort films that helps with my anxiety.
I love the idea of taking a modern theme and turning it in to something different eg. Turning it in to an rennessance piece.
A collage design of the idea;
This is a collage of the 2 images that i wanted to add together in the end. There is something very interesting about adding a newer image on top of an older image.
Final image
Statistics;
This is the statistics of how long the process took.
This is a time lapse of how the whole process of my creating the image;
This time lapse video has a length of 30 seconds, but however the full length version of the video is 8 and half minutes long.
Other girl edits ( part 2 - cloud woman - part 2)
This is a continuation of the previous post that was part 1 to the cloud woman. I had to make 2 posts as I found extra photos of the image that was edited that had not been included.
These edits were made on the 25th april;
These edits were made using the same cloud layers as the previous post, however the image looks totally different thanks to the editing of the eyes and then the change of the skin colour.
Images 1, 2 and 3 have a lighter skin colour to them. And the 4th and 5th images have a darker colour to them. I wanted to test to see what colour would stand out the most against all the blue the paler colour stands out against the hair and it compliments the blue of the background more but I like shade of the darker coloured skin.
A digital illustration
This is a digital illustration that i created using Procreate.
This is the timelapse of the whole process of creating the digital image.
This is the final image of where i decided to finish the illustration.
This is how long the time that the canvas was open and that there was things edited to it. The statistics of the piece, it says that it took 7hrs and 43mins.
Daphne edit
This is the edited images of the daphne edit that i created in a previous post.
In this image i made the body of daphne thinner so then it fitted in with more of the look form the tv shoe and sort of how I think she would look in real life.
This is a zoomed out version of the final edit of the image of the lady.
This is the zoomed in version of the face. I zoomed in to be able to include a close up of the eyes.
This is an edit of the use of the flower brush as a wallpaper. However I would call this image incomplete as the flower brush goes over the top of the figure instead of her being in front of the flowers.
As this ruins the look of the face more than anything as then the colour of the flower ruins the colour and the look of the face.
I like the size of the flower on this image, I like the way that the flowers look like they go behind the female figure.
I don’t like the size of the flowers on this picture. I like the shape of the eclipse and then it draws your eyes to the eyes in the female figure as the colour of the eyes is green and there is a lot of pink in the flowers.
With this image, I believe the flower brush is too small as it doesn’t really stand out against the figure.
With this image, I like the way that the flowers are positioned and the size of the flowers are a good size for the size of the woman and the proportion of the image.
My favourite version of this edit that I created is the 5th picture in this post and also the 8th and 9th pictures.
Pc2 art work (part 6)
Edited version as there was faults with the way I created the image.
There was a problem with the way that I presented the text and the phrase that i chose in the beginning so i had to change it as to not offend anyone.
For this piece I had the text with only the first letter being a capital.
I tried having all the letters in capitals as this made the words really stand out and really made the lettering look bold and bigger.
It brings your attention to the words and makes the meaning stand out and it makes you think about it more.

Pc2 art work (part 1)
These are the work that i created for the pc2 exhibition using the cloud images that i took
As they tied in to my Studio Practice module due to the clouds being present, so I included it on my blog.
Idea 1
Room design (part 2)
This is the original image of the picture.
This is the edited image of the first picture. I edited this by using the hue, saturation and brightness effect, i changed the hue to 68%, the saturation to 99% and the brightness to 32%. This made the image more darker and more sinister looking. The colours were a deep purple clouds and a green coloured sky, it gives me scooby Doo vibes.
This image is edited by using the colour balance effect . I made the image more fitting to the purple colour of the rest of the image by changing the slides only slightly to increase the magenta and the cyan to make the purple. The colour of the clouds fits the purple colour and then the colour of the sky fits with the colour of the blue light areas.
This was image that was the most edited as I added the extra white clouds. I then layered the white snow effect. Then I used the ocean effect to make it look somewhat like there is glass in between the two.
Version 2
This is the 2nd version of this image.
The picture of these image was taken on the 9th April, this was where I decided to create the final finished image.
Although I could have edited this image further, i chose to stop and move on to other ideas.
The part that took the most amount of time is the door as I couldn’t get the proportions or the angle right. The angle that I chose for the moving cart on the left side was very difficult to get the angle right.
This was the finished image. I don’t know if I like the use of the lights through the window and the door, it is perfect coming through the window but however the light seems to come out of nowhere.
Inverted image
This is the inverted image of the 2nd version.
I don’t like the darker brown colours of the light area, it doesn’t look like the colour fits to the green of the picture. In the first picture the brown light source in then window looks like a persons shadow.
Room design (part 1)
This canvas was started on the 4th April.
This is the line art drawing of the room. This was just a quick drawing to be able to create the coloured drawing. The top of the curtains took the most time to draw as I wanted it to be perfect.
This is the coloured layer, adding the colour took the longest time, because I was never completely satisfied with the blending of the colours, especially with the colours of the bed as this took the longest to create, as the ripples in the bedding didn’t look perfect.
The date I took the picture of the completed version of the colour was the 6th April.
This is the image as it was supposed to be viewed with the sky image in the background behind the window.
This was a regular image just zoomed/stretched out to fit in the window shape.
For this image i changed the colour slightly using the colour balance effect, only changing the sliders slightly. I changed the slides to cyan, magenta and blue sides to increase those colours in to the image.
This is an edited image, i changed the sliders to blue 100% and changed the cyan and magenta colours only slightly to add the pink colour to the bottom section and the purple colour to the middle. the blue changed the top section and then the cyan colour helped blend the colours together.
