"Do you have any Finnish black metal, though?"
"Finnish, maybe. I know there's a Burzum album somewhere in the back if you're looking for Norwegian. Have you looked through the metal section?"

"Do you have any Finnish black metal, though?"
"Finnish, maybe. I know there's a Burzum album somewhere in the back if you're looking for Norwegian. Have you looked through the metal section?"
"I imagine most are either inside or too busy running around in it like headless chickens."
"Eh, they only started up when I died, but one of their songs was everywhere. Honestly, I only really care because one of the kids is half Pakistani and it’s great to hear about desi people getting places— which apparently they are, considering how a couple of my students fangirl."
"Wow! I'll pass anything I find on to you if I come by it — after I take a listen myself. I've always been a sucker for boy bands, to be completely honest."
"Representation is definitely cool, and it's especially cool when they really get somewhere. I remember when Avril Lavigne got into the American charts, and thinking how cool it was that she was Canadian, too — I mean, until that skater boy song was overplayed and got annoying."
"Actually, I’m just here to duck out and wait for the rain to pass. White shirt, no one needs to see that wet."
"But might as well look, though I’ll pass on the N’Sync. Let me know if you ever get One Direction."
"Ah, gotcha. Today not a good day for a wet t-shirt contest, huh? It's no problem. Wait around as long as you need to. Hardly anyone's been in today, and the company's nice."
"You know, that's one of those bands people are constantly asking for, but I haven't seen anything of theirs yet as long as I've been here. But you're definitely one of the first people past twenty asking for them. Are they some sort of new boy band?"
"If you look through that bin there, we just got a stock in the other day and there might be a few new CDs left. Most of them looked to be mid-2000's. I think I saw one N'Sync album if you're into that sort of thing."
"last night I went out with this guy this guy. he was nice. he was nice and cute, but he wasn’t you." [ the end by best coast ]

Life
Lucy was the product of a broken home she desperately want to fix, even though she had convinced herself she was the person who had torn it apart in the first place. Growing up, her parents never seemed very happy together, but she figured they had to love each other at one point in their relationship. After all, she was born. The divorce came when she was seven-years-old after years of the same arguments. Adoring them both, Lucy was broken-hearted when she became the pawn in their divorce proceedings. After a long drawn out battle, it was finally decided that Lucy would spend time with each of her parents equally since she didn’t have a preference. Both her parents resented her for it, although she was just a child who needed both influences in her life. Throughout her time as a child and later a teenager, their family was constantly disrupted by her parents still fighting over what had ended years earlier.
Death
By the time she in her late teenage years, Lucy was already a self-proclaimed hopeless romantic. So much of her time was spent looking through teenage magazines, fawning over boy bands, watching romantic comedies, and, of course, looking for the man she would spend the rest of her life with. Going to university in her native Quebec, it was in her freshman year at school that all the trouble began. A mutual friend first introduced her to Antonin. He was he her age, tall and dreamy; when they met, Lucy was instantly smitten with the boy. But after one date, he had decided that she wasn’t the girl for him and wanted to move on. However, Lucy couldn’t understand this. She began to obsess over him, waiting by the phone every night for the call that never rang or the text message that never came. For months, she waited for him to reply to one of the dozens of love letters she had hand written to his house. She gushed to relatives and family how well her relationship with her boyfriend was going and everyone believed her, including herself. He had become her one obsession and turning point of her still world. After enduring this for almost a year, it came to an end when Lucy was broken-hearted when he placed a restraining order against her. The worst part came when Lucy found out later through the same mutual friend that he had become engaged to a girl he had been dating two years no less. They were planning on getting married shortly after both graduated from university the next spring. Breaking the order, she tracked down his address and visited his home in the dead of night. Climbing up the tree on his lawn and into his bedroom window when no one responded to the tears outside of his door, she pleaded with him to see sense. He was the only thing that provided clarity in her sad days. They were perfect for each other, she swore. He and his terrified fiance calmly explained that nothing had ever happened between the two. It was all in her head, they said. She had to move on, he said. Lucy, however, had no intention of doing so. She handed over her suicide note and blew her brains out before he could even figure out what was about to happen.
Afterlife
After arriving in Disgraceland, Lucy decided for herself that the place didn’t have to be totally devoid of happiness. Instead she devoted her days to brightening the lives of others and to make them love her like she so craved. However, just because she wants their love doesn’t mean she’s willing to return it. She still daydreams that maybe one day Antonin will join her here and finally be happy together and she doesn’t want anyone else in the picture to ruin things when that happens. Nowadays, she focuses on the love lives of others. Many of the residents refer to her as the matchmaker of Disgraceland. She’s certain that love can still exist, even for the broken-hearted people of this wasteland, so long as they find the perfect person to be with in the afterlife. And since there seems to be no way of escaping here, she’s comforted by the fact that once she’s put two people together, there’s no way they can leave each other, no matter how hard they try.
Lucy is portrayed by Kiko Mizuhara. She is played by Emmy in EST.
