Copper theft report.
Research, stakeholder and process mapping, design, for Designing Out Crime (DOC) research centre.
Copper is known as "poor man's gold", thanks to its ubiquity and cash value when traded at scrap metal dealers. In 2011 a working group was established to address the issue of copper theft and this report was designed to be a central reference point for this group. At this time there was no single or clearly defined "owner" of the copper theft problem, and no clear understanding of the problem across different stakeholder groups. This report displayed what was known about copper theft in a straightforward manner, visually mapping out processes and different stakeholders' relationship with the issue.
