@lucys-reblogs
:+: Hello :+:
My main: @lucys-art-log
I ordered new pair of glasses today. I was asked if I wanted to refurbish my old pair for backup, but I said no. They’re a precious gift, so I picked new frames that remind me of my grandmother's. The old ones will have a special place on my shelf now.
My pair of glasses has already done. I had a notification 3 hours ago.
I put my old glasses away on a shelf because I cherish them.
These red glasses are my new ones. These glasses will have their own story now too. I’d say these glasses so close to the model of my grandmother’s glasses. I love items that link the past with the present.
The old one looks great, but these new ones are also super classy! I love them. They remind me a bit of mine because of how thin the frame looks. I don’t even use mine anymore.
No doubt you look amazing in these! I’m glad you’ve found happiness in taking after your grandmother <3
I agree with you, my friend. I like old ones too however I saved as a piece of memory right now. It was a gift about 2 years ago from my grandmother, I’d like to save them. These glasses were simple, but they were comfortable to wore to me.
As for new ones, they will be my be my helpers in this reality. I don’t a such good vision, because it can be difficult for me to look away without my glasses, and the nicest fact is a thing, that this thing isn’t like some like of soulless thing. It makes more sense for me.
I’m glad that you no need to wear glasses anymore. That’s really uncomfortable to have some kind of limits on your vision. I hope you keep your good eyesight for as long as possible, so take care of yourself.
To be honest, I really like to save things, which have a connection with good memories. For example, I had one absolutely important thing for my family, it was binoculars of my grandfather, who passed away before my grandmother did, they were siblings: my grandfather was an older one and my grandmother was a younger one. It binoculars were hard to get, because it was from period of USSR, after war period of USSR, but it one day was stolen by someone! It was a real loss for my mother, my uncles, my grandmothers and me. We still don’t know the truth about location of this thing. I hope I didn’t upset you too much with my stories.
I’m glad you cherish them so! I understand what you mean, my friend. I tend to hold onto things as well simply because they are connected to someone in some way which I care about.
I had a very small prescription by the optometrist and I was told I needed them to drive. That was years ago, but when I passed my learners exam recently, they tested my eyes again and said I did not need them! My depth perception can be a little odd at times and when I am indoors too much everything is a little fuzzy, but for the most part I can see pretty well! I think I have a Stigma, but that causes different problems.
Oh, these binoculars sound very cool! I wish I knew what they looked like. Someone stole them?? Ah, how can it be so! I wonder if the thief thought them to be very valuable? Oh, Ann don’t apologize! I don’t get upset easily. At least, not in a sad way. But it IS sad to have lost such an heirloom! I hope maybe one day you can find it!
These things are valuable, aren’t they?
I’ve found an old Nokia. It was my first phone, my grandmother decided to give to me in my 7 years old, when I was in a first grade. This one was really nice! I also put it into the desk drawer. I guess for someone these things are rubbish, but not for me.
(Some kind of useless explanation: from 1 to 4 grade is a primary school, from 5 to 9 grade is a middle school, from 10 to 11 is a high school. We have only 11 years of school as a maximum. After 9th grade you can go to college, and after 11 you can go to university. It’s briefly explanation).
I’m so glad for you! It’s great not to need glasses at all. It means that everything will be amazing, my friend! It’s easy to ruined your vision with time, but I hope it’s not definitely about you. Let nothing stand in your way!
Well, my eyesight has been failing since I was 14, and I spent a lot of time online, in books, and in limited spaces. I used to feel comfortable only at home, and even now it’s hard to go out. I used to be in isolation, but now I feel better because I have really nice friends. I think it’s possible that this is the reason why people are losing their eyesight, because they’re looking for a way to escape reality?
I realized why some people are so afraid of wearing glasses. Something unpleasant happened to me back in October. My friend and I went to a grocery store to grab a snack before our university classes.
Suddenly, an elderly man started harassing us, shouting: 'So young, yet already blind! Blind! What kind of specialists will you become if you can't see past your own noses?!' Later, we bumped into him again inside the store, and he went: 'Those blind ones again! They're everywhere!'
I didn't argue with that strange man, even though he spoke my native language and my friend was just learning it. I felt awkward in front of her. But in the end, I just tried to calm her down and told her that we are certainly not to blame for whatever reason he has to hate people who wear glasses. It was one of the few times I was ready to tear a man a new one because I was so angry. That’s it.
I think I’ve come to terms with losing the binoculars. It’s highly unlikely I’ll ever find them. And even if I found a similar pair, it wouldn’t be the same as my grandfather’s. Sadly, I think that part of my family history is gone forever.
A Nokia, you say? Interesting! They say those phones are invincible, you know? Haha. Maybe it’s true, who knows! Thank you for the explanation.
Thank you! I still get a little light headed in stores because they have very poor lighting. It can have a bad affect on my vision.
You know, I wonder if I ever had great eyesight. I was reading all the time as a child. I would read a whole novel a day! I had too much free time on my hands haha! I’m glad you feel better, Ann. I think you’re right, this is probably a solid reason why they are losing it so young. Plus, children far too young are allowed access to devices like IPads. It’s terrible for their eyes long term!
I can honestly say I have never heard of such a thing happening! I can see how it upset you and your friend. However, for some reason I see an element of humour. I just find it a little funny to think of an old man shouting at a couple of youngsters going: “Those blind ones again! They’re everywhere!” But maybe it was a little frightening. I wonder if there may have been something wrong with him, though? There’s obviously no justification for simply hating on those who need glasses. What is his problem? It doesn’t concern him, that’s for sure!
I’m sorry, Ann. You know, my grandmother lost many many things when she moved. A whole moving van of her stuff was stolen! This was years ago, but she still talks of the things she lost sometimes. Apparently, much of it was from my great aunt. She travelled a lot, even to Russia! She brought back many things from her travels. I will never see these items though, as they were in the van, which I find sad. So, I have some of my family history gone as well.
The Nokia is a real warrior! I guess that whole universe forms around this phone. My friends and I like to call this thing a “brick”. Well, in Russian we have a phrase like “this phone turn into a brick”, it means that phone or another kind of technology, which you use the most or just use in your ordinary life, becomes completely useless, so a a result you can use it only as a “brick”. However, as for Nokia it’s another case, because it would be some kind of disrespect, so the truth is a fact that this phone is as strong as a brick.
It sounds uncomfortable. It seems like some shops are skimping on lighting recently. So it feels like you stay somewhere in the underground. It would be nice, if they focused more on customer service. I mean that health of people should be protected too. That’s a real problem, when owner only cares about his wallet.
My grandmother used to read in the dark, because she liked to read for twenty-four-hour. Well then, she suffered from her bad eyesight. She also worried about my eyesight, but she couldn’t change anything. I also understand your reading passion. It happened with me in my childhood and earlier teenage age, but I couldn’t read in darkness of night, because I could be punished by my mum. She wanted to protect me from bad habit.
As for IPads, that’s a problem of all generations now. Alas, with a huge progress of technologies we become hostages of them. For children that’s impossible to act against using technologies. We can’t change anything, because this is our new reality, but we still can create rules for time limits of these technologies.
It was mostly scary, my friend, because he appeared from nowhere. I had a feeling that we should ignore him for our safety. It would be impossible to looking into his thoughts to understand a reason of such behavior. So we decided to buy some food, and then we quickly went from the shop. It’s better to stay away from some people; this is not a bias, but the reasonableness of action.
What a terrible situation! I’m so sorry because of disappearing of these things! And there is no guarantee that they will be found...That’s not fair! However she still had memories, what about her great travel in another countries? By the way, did she like travel to Russia?
That’s a shame that I’m not here to give you and your family members some gifts. I really like to make big gifts for my family and friends. Maybe one day it could be possible? I'd love to share a little happiness. It couldn’t replace what has gone, but it could bring a smile.
Although, I have something interesting for you and your grandmother! Just have a look at these pictures of Motherland Calls Monument from Volgograd! Volgograd has a history of two main names: it was known as Tsaritsyn from its founding in 1589 until 1925, and then Stalingrad until 1961. It became Volgograd on November 10, 1961, during the struggle against the cult of personality, though the original name, Tsaritsyn, came from the Tsaritsa River. Note that the city temporarily reverts to 'Stalingrad' for specific commemorative days. It happened on this Victory day(9th of May) too. It became a Stalingrad, but temporary.
Do you like it? It’s a legacy of my country since 1967.
Haha! This phrase is a funny one! I think I’ll use it some time. You’re right, the Nokia is built like a brick.
Yeah, it would be nice if stores had large windows. Many small ones do, but the large ones which are more industrial do not. They are lighted by large lamps over head. It’s definitely very poor and artificial!
I used to read in the dark too! Because I didn’t have a flashlight. And when I did get one, I could only use it under a blanket or even not at all because of my sisters sleeping. It was a really bad habit. I too would get caught by my mother and father, though I always tried to hide (˶˃⤙˂˶) My mother was the most upset because she did the same thing and had poor eyesight in her youth.
You’re right, it’s a problem for everyone. I am not against using technology, but it should be used in moderation I think.
Yeah! I don’t blame you. It was the smart thing to do. Sometimes confronting someone isn’t the way to go. It’s like when someone tries to mug you. It’s always advised that you hand over whatever they want and be able to walk away without a scratch. You never know what they may have! Although, it’s different if they come at you with murderous intent. In this case, you fight for your life. But, whatever money you have in your wallet or what’s in your pockets isn’t worth more then your life, so you let them have their way.
Well, my aunt died many years ago. Apparently I did meet her when I was just a baby, but I don't remember it. From what my grandmother has told me, she really liked her travels around the world! She was an awesome woman and I aspire to be like her. (by the way, her favorite color was purple and when I was young, that was mine too! I didn't even know it at the time, but my grandmother told me a few years ago. I inherited some of my aunts stuff (did I mention she was my great great aunt?) and I was given many purple things! Anyway, it is sad to know such stuff is gone. My grandmother has tried describing some of it to me, but I can tell it pains her. I will has to ask her what my aunt said about Russia specifically.
Oh Ann, I have been piling up gifts for you! It's silly, but I have the idea too. My grandmother thinks it's amazing that we are friends, you know. I love to give my friends and family gifts too! Mostly handmade items because they seem to love it so much. The problem is that the shipping can get expensive. Luckily, if I can get the mail to be within the correct weight, I can ship my commission pieces to people at a reasonable price! This is something I've been working on for my commission business. I really want it to work out!
What an amazing piece of art!!! The other day, I saw a post about this very statue and if you had not sent these to me first, I would have been skeptical of it's existence. It's truly stunning! I love it! I want to see such a thing one day. Perhaps I will? Did you take these photos? How can it be so big? It's fantastic!

Aww, thank you! I apologize for being very quiet lately. I have been working hard and a little tired. I want to talk with you again! You’re the best friend ever! <3
As promised, here is the first sunflower to bloom! Isn’t it beautiful? I thought of you the moment I saw it, Ann!
That’s fine. I’m quite busy at the moment, so I completely understand. Good luck, my friend! You always know how to touch me deeply with your words, Lucy! Thanks a lot, my valuable and amazing friend!
What a lovely sunflower! Such a tender and perfectly formed sunflower! May it also fill your soul with light and warmth☺️
Thank you for sharing with me! I don’t have any pictures of flowers at the moment, however I have something interesting for you too. I’d like to show you the photo of old mosaic. Do you like it?
I hoped you would enjoy it as much (if not more) as I did, Ann! I adore sunflowers so much. There is actually another one at bloom right now! I haven’t any pictures of it, as it looks a little sad, but perhaps later.
Oh! A mosaic! What an interesting form of art they are. Thank you for sharing! I love the look of it with these lovely trees. Does this piece have a name?
You will always be the best!!!

I have one silly joke for you! I tried my best to create this one:
What does the man in a hat say when he can’t find something what he’s looking for?
It doesn’t hatter!
That’s it! @annperiodsoftime
Haha! What a silly joke, Ann. I genuinely smiled! You brighten my day every time I see you (:
:+: Makar the Crochet Appaloosa :+:
Here’s the pattern!
Includes 2 files: a base horse pattern (palomino horse with a white star marking on its face and sock leg markings) and an Add-On pattern,
This same lady also has an add on pattern that tells you how to do all the different face and leg markings. She doesn’t give a pattern for this particular coat, I made it up myself. Just by crocheting the body in complete white, then cross stitching irregular Xs into it with black, you can make an appaloosa like this. Having ref photos also helps. It’s actually surprisingly fun and you can really go crazy with it!
@beth-bunkus (:
Happy Easter to you and your family! May this Easter bring you peace, love, and joy.
@annperiodsoftime
Ann! I have disappeared for a while, haven’t I? Happy Easter to you as well, my friend! I wish you much joy and peace with your family!
Here is a rose from our greenhouse!
Everything is fine, Lucy! I’m glad to see you again! Thank you, my Orthodox Easter will be very soon, because of differences of our calendar, my country and my family celebrate it later.
I’d also like to take some photos and share some information with you! Thank you again, my friend, for your nice wishes, and I really like your photo. This rose looks like it belongs in the fairytale illustration! It’s a gorgeous one!
I wish you much peace and joy on your Easter, Ann!
I was happy to see it growing. It is still wintery here which can be annoying. It is April! Why won’t the snow disappear?? In any case, I now have large sunflowers growing in the greenhouse as well. They haven’t yet bloomed, but I am anticipating it!! <3
Thanks a lot, Lucy! It was nice Easter 9 days ago!
It’s a cool weather in my area too. Well, here we don’t have snow, only rainy days about 2 or 3 weeks. It’s going to be another rainy day, if the forecast is right(It was right). That’s unusual, because in April we usually have a lot of sunny days and only some of these days can be a bit cloudy. There are a lot of blooming trees, despite the weather these ones are always fantastic! It feels like a ray of hope after a long period of challenges.
I adore sunflowers! I’m sure all of them are reflections of our sun. They’re like a positive people, who lives an ordinary and nice life in the countryside. I have one drawing, which connected with them! I’d like to show you a still life from my time at art school.
I'm definitely waiting for those sunflower photos! Let them soak up the sun, as warm and bright as they are!
Ah! Then I am very late. But, I’m glad you had a nice time.
We haven’t yet seen the rainy season. Instead, we mostly get very big spring melt. In fact, we are taking a day off today because the area in which we were working has been flooded by the melting snow! Plus, the dirt roads become mud with the frost being brought out of them by the sun. It was very warm the day before yesterday, but then cold yesterday and today. It started snowing again! It’s very confusing. I wish our trees would bloom, but nothing shall until the snow is gone and the sun shines bright once again.
Sunflowers are my absolute favourite flower! I love them so much <3 Everything you say about them is true, my friend! They’re surely a reflection of the sun. This masterpiece is beautiful! I love it, thank you for showing me!!! The vibrant colors behind it all is superb!
You will receive them, Ann! I’m always very proud of my sunflowers. Last year I had an abundance of them. This year I hope to cultivate a variety which I saved the seeds of. I call them “pale gold” sunflowers. They’re rather small. I think they are a hybrid of other types.
Happy Easter to you and your family! May this Easter bring you peace, love, and joy.

Thinking of you! How are things?
@annperiodsoftime
Ann! I can’t believe this went unnoticed by me. I really should be checking more.
I’m always so happy to hear from you, my friend! I apologize for my absence. I’ve been hurrying to get things done and now it is back to work in the forest for me! Haha.
I’m not ignoring you! I just want you to know that. I’ve been attempting to get things straightened out in my life a little. I will admit that I’ve been a bit more tired then usual. But! I want to talk to you again! And hopefully get to role playing the way I was before.
How are you?? I have seen some of your posts. Have you achieved success? Surely you will celebrate! I hope you’re doing well and that you are not too tired or stressed. And your family too!
Don’t worry, Lucy! I'm not offended. Sometimes I miss messages too, just because I don't always get notifications. It’s really annoying!
I’m also so glad to hear everything from, my friend! I’ll wait for you to return every time! No need to apologies a lot! I feel you, it’s a period of hard work for you again. I hope you achieve all your plans!
We’re all going to be tired, my friend, it’s okay. I figured you might have had something important to do or needed to get some proper rest. So I decided to wait for you. I hope you had a nice rest before your work in forest! Don’t worry about role play a lot, because I mostly prefer to play with you and some other nice people. By the way, I adore all of your drawings for your character too, because it makes your character more vivid and interesting!
In general I’m fine, I continue to move despite temporary difficulties. I’m trying to finish my debt( coursework), study, do homework for my university classes and my extra English lessons, and I also do things for my diploma. To be honest, I escape from any stressed issues, I guess, I mostly scared by the lack of my time to do everything. I would like to have more time! At the same time I try to relax and chat with my friends. In addition, I also have a little friendly contest with my bestie: we’re trying to write poems on certain common themes. It’s always so interesting, because we’ve never had the same ideas despite the common theme! You know what? I’ve created a small drawing as a result of my exercise at university, it’s a new one and I want to share it with you!
My family is doing well, except that we had to buy a new washing machine, because the old one has broken! They always break down after about 5 years! It was very hurtful, because now most things cost a fortune, but the life of such things are too short!
How is your and your mother’s health? Do you have any positive changes?
(It’s my drawing from my class at university! The concept of this drawing: firstly, I just drew lines with closed eyes, then I had to finish those lines that were not finished, and then choose a color with my eyes closed, so that I could think carefully about where to place the chosen color on the drawing. )
It really is annoying, isn’t it? I’ve also been having the trouble of major winds lately. Our power grid is a little on the flimsy side and goes out easily. (even without wind, but obviously it still affects it). As a result I have no access to internet. However, I can still draw traditionally. I actually wondered to myself just yesterday how in the world a primarily digital artist could survive lose of power for a day! Do they go back to their paper and pencil? (I know that some people cannot go back and forth easily so it may be difficult for them.)
I appreciate it so much! You’re right, I have been working on things. Well, mostly learning about how to do things on my own now. In fact, I just learned how to file my taxes! Haha. Apparently I still need to do it even if I have no job and am still considered a student. It’s simply the better way to go. Apart from that I’ve been asked to help cook for a camp again this summer. I’m also attempting to make a horse coloring book to try making some money, but also because it is fun. For that I am learning a new program and how to use the tablet. Thank you, Ann! She’s a character I really enjoy drawing and thinking about.
That sounds like a great many things on your plate, Ann. I hope you can get through it all like a champ! I’ve no doubts you can do it <3 I’m sure that you can enjoy much time with your friends and family! In fact, I very much hope that you can! It’s an important thing. I love this idea with your friend. It’s creative and a great way to practice your craft!
Ah yes, appliance replacement. We’ve had our share. And yes, they’re very expensive! I remember the days when my father fought with our old washing machine. Those were intense battles. Towards the end of its life, it had sustained a few blows from a wrench. (My father is a patient man, so this is saying something!) aside from that, we’ve also replaced our dishwasher at least once. But, the washing machine for some reason seems to have less life in it.
I’ve been fine. Still tired, but getting over a short cold. As for my mother… she is pregnant!! With her 9th child no less! I’m excited. She wishes for it to be a surprise, wether it’s a girl or a boy. Although this is great news, she’s been quite sick recently from it. She says it’s normal. She even has had an ultrasound and we can already see the baby! She and it both appear healthy. I’m actually very glad because her leg has healed completely.
And what about you and your mother?
Yeah, it’s definitely true. It sounds really problematic to have any connection, when it happens. I have WiFi-connection in my home, but one day it can become slower than before. I’d say that this can happen if there are safety issues, but as long as everything works acceptably. As for mobile service, it’s mostly down or working poorly, and has been for a few days. That’s a real problem to stay online, when you leave your house. I miss the days when everything worked stably. Sorry, I’ve strayed a little off the subject.
I think that’s really important to change your instruments and practice with different opportunities to drawing something, what you really what to draw! I guess, it’s a common problem for a huge part of digital artists. I mean, that one day they might almost forget how to draw on paper. However I think this point isn’t about you, because you switch up your tools and try different ways.
It's great to hear that things are looking up for you! You’re growing up, but you do it with a pleasure, it’s awesome, Lucy! It’s so good that you can return in the camp as helper for cooking dishes. It helps you to improve your skills more. I’m sure that you’ll have a lot of amazing moments!
As for your horse coloring book, it sounds lovely! People would like it!
I hope you can earn much money!
Thank you for your faith on me! I’m close to finish of my coursework, I just need to make it a bit shorter, and then I need a signature of my teacher for the end of this work. I’m trying to create a plan of my diploma, because it’s very important step for the best start of it. At the moment I don’t have enough time and motivation to gather together with my family and friends. It seems to me, that I need a bit more time to myself.
It’s a real battlefield, when you need to fix these machines! I don’t know why, but for me these things as difficult as cars. I mean, that modern models of washing machines and dishwashers are so complex. You could say your washing machine had its baptism by fire thanks to your dad. I’m just kidding, I understand him, it’s hard to keep a level head, when something is definitely broken.
It’s glad to hear that you feel better! My congratulations to your big and friendly family! Your parents are happiest people in this world, because they have a lot of wonderful children! And I congratulate you too, because you’re amazing older sister, who will have an another little sibling! I also wish your siblings to have a lot of best moments with the little one! This moment will be closer, than you think, and I understand your excitement! It’ll be nice to see and realize how much you love this little human! I see, that’s a surprise, so in that case it will be the cutest surprise in the whole world!
I’m so happy that your mother’s leg is full healed.
As for me, I’m trying to study a lot. I mostly study, because I want to finish my bachelor degree, and then I’m planing to find another place to study for my master degree. My routine: my studying process at university, helping my friends with some kind of university tasks, some kind of help with housework(mostly cleaning and looking after siblings), some kind of help with homework to my brother, and then I’m trying to do my tasks, these ones for English classes. In my free time I try to take photos and write poems. By the way, I’m trying to read one book in English, it was my gift from mother. Oh, I also had a one Russian-English book about interesting places, this one was a gift on New Year. To be honest, I wanted this one, because I had an idea to share this information with you. I’d interesting for you, I guess.
As for my mother, she is studying in courses. She had made a decision to work in future at the same direction as me. On summer she asked me something like this: “Would you mind, if I decide to work at the same direction as you?”
Of course, I wouldn’t mind! It’s my mum, so how I can be opposite against her desires? I would be unfair from my side! I believe in her. I kept in my mind the fact, that my mother didn’t like her previous work. She worked in office, and it was difficult, but she did it for me, because I was a child in the period, when they didn’t have so much money. However, they handled with it, but my mother had to stop her ambitions for a while, because she wanted to be sure, that everything would be fine with us(me and my siblings). By the way, she had a lot of attempts to write, but some people finally recognize with the time. It’s her small victory! I’m so proud of her!
The bad news is the fact, that my sister broken the toe. She needs about 2 more weeks for sure, if not more. However, it’s not too serious, but unpleasant and uncomfortable for her, because she can’t fully step on her leg.
(That’s all I could remember. Maybe, I forgot something. However, you can ask me questions, and I could remember much more details.)
So how is your week, my friend?
Ann! I’m sorry to leave you waiting! I’ve been coming home from outdoor work very tired. It’s probably good for me though, being outside. Perhaps I will become super strong! I want to take this time to answer you.
I steady connection is always nice. I remember when out home internet was horrible. It was almost unusable. But, since switching to this fancy new Starlink we have had a more reliable connection. Though the power situation has not changed.
You’re right! I had done some research into the differences between digital and traditional artists. Sometimes it’s hard for people to switch and drawing primarily in digital can make you worse sometimes.
Thank you, Ann. I’m definitely trying. I actually recently contacted someone for a craft fair table. I am actually very upset because the email is a professional one and is the one they direct you to to purchase a table, yet they haven’t replied to me in almost two weeks! I sent them a follow up email just yesterday. I don’t expect anything yet, but the deadline is getting quite close. I wanted a table very much so I could attempt to sell all my crochet creations at marked down prices (simply to get them off my hands and recover a portion of the costs).
I hope you can get this signature, Ann! Perhaps you have already?
Haha! You’re right. It did have a “baptism by fire”. In any case, it’s another entertaining episode in our family saga. Speaking of cars, we got stuck in the soft shoulder of a dirt road a few days ago in our truck. It was quite an adventure getting it out! In the end, we had to call up our grandfather (we were with out father) to come find us and pull us out with our SUV. (The suv isn’t in great shape itself). Anyways, we thought the power steering pump exploded, but it miraculous survived! We still need a new hose line for it, however. But that was something we needed to fix anyway. Aside from that, the breaks must be fixed. They’re in terrible shape. We have to down shift in order to slow and stop the truck. For as long as I can remember, this truck has needed some special treatment. It’s very old, but has potential to be a great vehicle if we can fix it up well! In fact, it’s actually a little impressive how well it’s held together with all original parts, being almost 30 years old.
My parents like to say that we are very rich, not in money by any means, but in family. I believe they are right! Each child is a blessing. I cannot wait. And I will be sure to tell you when the new little one arrives! Thank you, it is very good that her leg is healed. It’s a relief!
That sounds like a full plate! But, you also have a good strategy! I like being very organized, but lately I’ve not been able to be that way. It makes me a bit sad, but I’m sure if I just take a small rest, I can focus again.
I’m glad you are able to write your poems and do your photography! You’re very good at it. It’s wonderful that you can balance your gifts in with your schooling. Oh? What English book is this? Perhaps I may know the title. Oh, it sounds interesting! You’re so sweet, Ann. You know, I was in a forest last week or so which was so magical! I thought how lovely it was and how you could certainly have captured it’s beauty! It is a place full of fir trees which is so rare for us. They’re very soft and velvety green!
How admirable, the sacrifices of a mother! That’s wonderful, the opportunity you have to work with her now. You will be the best mother daughter duo! What a victory for her. That’s splendid! My mother has turned to writing a book of her own. I’m not sure how it is going, but I have offered to proof read it and be an editor of sorts! I’m no professional, but I do want to attempt it. What has your mother ben writing about? Will she write for a paper? That’s exciting!!!
Oh dear! How did she break it, if I may ask? I hope for her speedy recovery!
My week has been fine, besides the vehicle problems. But, what can one do? It had to be repaired at some point. Now we have an excuse to really do it. It was a bit of an adventure, though. I brought my match box and lit a nice little fire with a large lump of spruce pitch. Pitch is amazing for fire starting! I only used one match! It was my little “survival fire”. My father congratulated me a bit. It’s his goal to teach us these things, so he is happy when we succeed.
I do apologize for not responding! I don’t have enough money right now to afford my own phone, so I have to share an old one with a few of my siblings. They’re all growing up and making friends and connections. So, naturally they want to stay in touch. I sometimes have a hard time getting hold of the device! Perhaps if my commission plan becomes successful, I can afford the phone bill! It’s quite a bit though, every month. It simply isn’t worth the amount I would actually use it.
I want to know how your week has been! Tomorrow is Easter. I wish you much happiness on such a blessed day, wether you celebrate or not! In fact, I wish you happiness everyday! I hope you’re proud of your accomplishments, Ann! It’s really something. I’m so lucky to know you, my friend! <3

Thinking of you! How are things?
@annperiodsoftime

Happy birthday to you, my friend! @lucys-reblogs
This day is amazing reminder about one wonderful person! I know, that I’m so far from you to say these words personally to you, but you’re special one for me, and not only on your birthday, my friend! You’re the best just because of your existence in this world! Wishing you an amazing day, when your soul rejoices and your heart is full of love. I also wish you to have attention from your lovely ones!
“One girl, who had a dream”
One dreaming girl had lots of fun,
She was a love of everyone:
Her parents,
Siblings and her friends,
And this is love gave her a chance!
She was a child,
But she had a huge desire to protect,
And she was fighting with this world
For saving the single of her goal,
And many horses were at home
With lots of drawings at her home!
These horses hid,
But they returned with own skills,
They’d never gone!
They saved her sparkle,
They were slow,
But they would never be too low!
This day has came,
Her dream came true,
She had her own new of view,
But her child-part were saved too!
She’s still amazing,
She’s my friend,
She’s the best,
And she is glad,
She will continue to protect
Her dreaming world,
Which is her friend.
(This is a new picture, it has not yet been published, but I associate it with your rich inner world. A lot of love to you, Lucy!)
