IZABELLA, darling !!
“Eggs, toast and some bacon,” Iza answered with a shrug. Growing up in Cuba breakfast was normally a lighter affair, but due to the long week she’d had and the Americanized breakfasts she’d gotten used to in Miami the past few years - this breakfast was perfect. Iza paused to spread some jam on her toast and looked up at the woman. “Wine with breakfast?” She questioned in both surprise and pleasure. But she nodded her head and moved to grab two glasses from the cabinets. When her own glass was filled she smiled at the woman. “À la tienne !” She spoke with a bit of a daring look in her eye. Her friend wasn’t the best but due to working in the hospitality industry for years - she could speak a little bit of many languages. If she’d been a more studious person she could have gone to school for it. Languages made sense to her.
Lucinda’s breakfast always consisted bread, a choice of butter, honey and jam with a good cup of coffee that would start off her day -- but this morning was different. ‘’Had bad night, is a new day and a new start, why not?’’ she asked in return with a LIGHT tone, watching the other leave the kitchen island to grab two glasses -- appreciation coming to settle on the redhead’s features as her fingers tap on her laptop. Closing the same fingers around the rim of the glass, she takes it up to her lips, but distracted from taking a sip when the French words leave the other’s lips, taking her off guard for a second. ‘’J'aime ton accent,’’ the voice actor smiles. ‘’You know French? But are non French, non?’’ Her accent was different from her own, which was why she was curious to get to know more about her. ‘’Je suis Lucinda, quel est ton nom chérie?’’
