not as much a question but do you have any snipperspy head canons
it's all good! i do have headcanons here and there, but most of them are dialogues, if anything. here's some that i got to have in a bit of detail:
> observing is one of the things they share in common, and it usually consists of them thinking about the other a lot--with spy taking into account about sniper's fascination about the stars, animals, and sniper considering spy's taste in clothing, fine dining--
so now you've got a sniper who ironically knows the best places for eatery, and a spy that knows the best spots for birdwatching or meteor showers.
did i mention clothing also plays a part of this?
they both pick out each other's outfits, and more or less, they bicker about their sense of fashion. spy is usually the one that starts the whole thing.
"You look filthy, bushman. Have you ever thought about a wardrobe change?"
"Piss off, won't ya? I don't want to hear that from Mr. Suit-and-Tie."
this doesn't stop them from wearing what the other had picked for them, though. and it plays off well, much to their surprise.
spy now gets the appeal of big clothes after sniper buys him casual clothes. as much as he detests outfits like these, sniper's picks are frustratingly comfortable. he wears it more often in his smoking room.
sniper would be lying if he said wearing a suit doesn't make him feel more professional. the price concerns him. spy tells him not to worry about it.
tl;dr two men getting conscious of each other's preferences and tries their darndest to make the other happy, what's new
> spy owns a kukri balisong! it reminded him of the bushman when he saw it. he gifts it to sniper in smissmas, eventually teaches him how to use it. he couldn't bring himself to backstab sniper after seeing him pull out the knife so ridiculously during an afternoon round.
> sniper's the type to compliment spontaneously. it just comes out of the blue, at any particular day and time; his mouth moves before he knows it, much to his delight (and spy's amusement). it's partly one of the reasons why he keeps quiet most of the time.
spy plays his words very carefully. thinks before he speaks; makes sure his words deliver the meaning he wants to convey, to get his point across. he goes all out in showering praises, though. the type to goad someone into smiling.
words fail the masked man whenever he's with sniper. and in mundy's case, he could easily find himself talking more when he's with spy.
> spy tends to be scatterbrained when he's relaxed. prim and proper? out of the window. sniper finds it endearing, albeit it being troublesome at times.
"Anytime now," Sniper chuckles. "You pickin' yourself up or am I gonna drag your arse off the floor?"
"If you would do the honours."
