ooh, let's see here... Shizua: the first of many journaling notebooks. she was given this as a youngin by her dad, as he'd heard that journaling can help with anxiety. this became where she noted down her studies on anime and manga tropes, naming and numbering them tv tropes-style and notating the different variations.

Ai: a simple hair clip with a red heart on it. though initially just a silly gesture of passing on the torch, this became a legitimate piece of the puzzle to becoming the main character. Mizumi: despite being quite popular, Mizumi doesn't get many gifts that she actually cares about.

This is probably an odd ask, but does anybody have some good examples of Moe Baras? I'm trying to get better at drawing this year, and one of my old ocs is a VERY muscular man. the problem is, my artstyle for that project has shifted quite a bit. and when my art gears towards this kinda look,

it's very hard to figure out how to draw someone who looks like THIS,

and not have them look super out of place. most bara art that i've found, while SUPER helpful to learn how to draw muscles and general bigness, is in a much more realistic style than what i'm aiming for. I'll continue to look on my own, but does anybody have some good examples of this bodytype in a style that doesn't look too out of place next to your typical slice-of-life flatfaced anime girl? The closest i've found is Bandit Keith from yugioh, but he's a little too... angular. any suggestions appreciated! ❤
