That needy feeling when all you crave is one person's attention.
“I can’t believe–” You heard that. To say he felt embarrassed, flustered being another high possibility, it would more than likely be the best of terms in order to push value to the influx of unwritten emotions painting into his bloodstream; allowing his gaze to meet the elder, he found it better to attempt restraint on the blush threatening to spread darkly across his cheeks, as if to reiterate the unfathomable amount of emotions he’d begun to accept after a moment’s worth of contemplation. Lips taking their part, he released a slight exhale, if only to find a grip on his words without sounding as suggestive as any response could have implemented itself as, “A very naughty bunny,” Chaejin admitted quietly, glancing to the side boyishly, under the impression that a number of things could be considered as naughty, especially upon circumstance. “A good bunny would have looked around for his boyf– for his, ah… favourite fox! But–” Bringing his free hand to a point, he attempted to divert the elder’s attention to his sprite staring lifelessly at a hovering Lugia in its cave. “But I was so close okay, I didn’t get to save the game yet!”
A quick glance to his frozen treat, and he could already tell that it was beginning to soften, melting in the midst of their conversation; angling his head slightly, he nipped at the bottom, making sure that none of it would fall to waste– that wouldn’t be all too wonderful. Lifting his attention to the fox before him, Chaejin felt his nose wrinkle, a bit of a giggle spilling from behind his lips to the sight before him; truly, could anyone legally be this cute? It was unfair for Luhan to do this to his heart, when all he wanted to do was tease the precious little fox. Leaning over the back of the sofa, his arm extended forward, a sense of playfulness emitting in the wake of his position; free hand digging subtly into the plush beneath to keep balance, his tail wriggled in quick, cotton-like motions meant to paint an air of determination around his demeanor. “You have to ask nicely.” The hybrid smiled, allowing the orange treat to linger just before his favourite a pair of lips, that of which remained his alone to do, erm, kissing things with. It’s as if these sentences write themselves.
The blush spreading itself across Chaejin's cheeks was as clear as the sun rays that shone through the windows and danced through the strands of the younger's hair, highlighting each individual strand with love and adoration. This expression was by far one of Luhan's favourites to see on the younger, and he imprints the memory in the very depths of his mind, determined beyond measure that he wouldn't forget such a bringer of happiness. However, Chanejin's happiness equated to his own, and therefore so long as the younger was smiling the same boyish smile that Luhan had come to adore with all of his heart, then Luhan would in turn be the happiest fox hybrid that HySol had ever seen. "Tsk tsk tsk," he chided playfully, shaking his head even as he examined the screen presented to him with avid interest. "Chaejin is such a naughty bunny, not even paying attention to me and trying to catch Lugia instead. You should save and play with me instead." A childish pout slips its way across Luhan's lips, and his ears perk up because now that he thinks about it, he's almost certain he heard the beginnings of the word 'boyfriend' coming from Chaejin's mouth. All the same, he as more than happy to know that he was the bunny's favourite fox, and he took great pride in wearing such a title.
His eyes watched the other's lips with avid interest as they wrapped around the sweet treat, and his stomach twinged with jealousy for some unknown reason. His pout becomes more pronounced as his bunny leers at him, and he keeps his eyes trained on the Popsicle as it wavers teasingly in front of him, just out of reach. "But..." he refuses to let the pout go from his features, and keeps it there as his gaze switches to his teasing boyfriend instead. "What if I don't want to ask nicely?" he challenges, a grin coming up over his cheeks as he attempts to take anip out of the frozen treat. When he doesn't succeed and only ends up with a drop of the melting Popsicle on his cheek, he huffs petulantly and sits cross-legged, his tail curling around his waist as he looks up at the bunny. "Okay...can I have some, please?" He asks slowly, his own cheeks beginning to flush to reasons unknown to him. "I can even give you a kiss in exchange, I promise!" He's suddenly much more eager, rising to his knees and hovering right in front of the younger. "So can I have a bite, pretty please?"
A familiar scent of rich creme and orange citrus, similar to the treat between his lips filled his senses– nose twitching instinctively, his figure relieved itself of a hunch, straightening up a bit in response to the appearance of the boy; of course, he had no idea where the elder was, but he did know that he was in proximity, and for the first time, he hadn’t looked up, gaze in search of his favourite person. Such a thing might have gone by misinterpreted, but hopefully Luhan would understand– Lugia was a legendary! And this was childhood at its finest, really. “I’ll kiss you to make up for i–” Cutting himself off sharply, the scent painted around him delicately, reminding him that his fox was much closer than expected–
Behind him, in fact. Blinking himself into reality, a hand lifted quickly, fingers wrapping around the exposed wooden stick to hold his freeze in place before his attention shifted to the elder. “Omo…” It was as if video games had no meaning at the mere sight of the boy– as if everything else held no matter, so long as he could have a moment with the precious fox; if Chaejin could spend days studying Luhan, and all that made him tick, he would have, if only to sear such beautiful memories to certainty. Parting his lips some, he released the orange treat, holding it up with somewhat of a grin in its stained wake. Letting the device fall from his lap safely onto the plush cushion, the younger shifted himself to his knees in an attempt to face his boyfriend, the small cottontail behind him wriggling playfully as he waved the popsicle around lightly. “Does the baby fox want some?” He teased, sticking an orange-tinted tongue out in his own fit of childishness.
The words that slipped past the younger's lips before he'd turned his attention to him fully and cut himself off had not escaped the attentive ears of the elder, said appendages twisted forward on cue as a smile ghosted over his lips. His gaze drops to the plush pink of Chaejin's lips briefly, tracing over their outline with his eyes before meeting the bunny's gaze with a cheeky smile. "Eh? Kiss me to make up for what? Were you being a naughty bunny?" A head tilt comes alongside a teasing lift of the corner of his lips, though he would much rather they be pressed against a certain lop-eared bunny's own. However, now wasn't the time to have such thoughts, as Luhan's mind centred around one, and only one item at the time--
The Popsicle Chaejin currently held, waving it in front of his face teasingly. His eyes and tail followed diligently, and a hum not too short of a childish whine rolling in the back of Luhan's throat as his furry appendage gave a childish flick of eagerness. His eyes pulled away from the orange treat with much willpower to meet the bunny's gaze that mirrored his own from mere seconds earlier, and he couldn't help the pout that had his lips jutting out as if he were akin to a small child. Reaching out quickly to gently pinch the quick appearance of a tongue from between the other's lips, he huffed petulantly as he leaned forwards at the same time in an effort to capture the sweet treat between his teeth. After a few unsuccessful grabs he pulled back, perching easily on the back of the chair with a puppy-faced expression and his head resting in his arms as his tail brushed the floor with soft strokes. "Aren't you going to share? I like Popsicles too.."

amxjaejoong:
Jaejoong chuckles, the sound growing from small reverberations in his chest to into a more pronounced laugh as amusement bleeds through the content. He can’t help but to pull himself from the simple yet extraordinary comfort that comes from their easy physical contact which he continues to maintain, because Luhan talking as though he’s old certainly makes Jaejoong feel… well. Quite old. He keeps his tongue in check from teasing at Luhan, surely the fact that he’s laughed at the other enough for the younger to understand the feline’s humor.
The laugh mellows out again though, the inclination to fall into a purr warming through him once again at all the endearing words Luhan describes the elder with. Jaejoong isn’t sure what to say in reply to that, such high praise and from someone he valued in return, he can’t quite think of words to describe his thankfulness for Luhan’s care towards him. Instead, the purr finally manifests, if its only for a short few seconds before he’s interrupted by having to think again. This conversation could die quite quickly if Jaejoong just allowed himself to dissolve into that melty gooeyness that filled his stomach whenever he let his purring take over.
“I won’t be disappointed by a future of staying here with those I care for, with those like you and Chaejin-ah. And I wouldn’t call you pessimistic either Hannie,” he says, sweeping his free hand upwards to pet his fingers through the younger’s hair, his eyes unfocused but filled with the emotion of sincerity. “It wouldn’t be fair to discount the things the others have been through… It makes you a good friend to all of us, for not neglecting to remember even the things that aren’t so pretty. I… will admit its something I sometimes try not to think about…”
Sighing with a small chuckle, though this time the sound is more self deprecating than amused, Jaejoong leans forwards to pull the fox into a hug, needing it for his own comfort.
“I’m glad you liked the gift dongsaeng,” he tells the younger, pulling away from the hug and diverting himself from a topic that will dampen his thoughts. “There shouldn’t be any colds caught this year, not if you all wear my gifts when you go out. Take turns even, and bundle yourself one at a time in all of them combined, I don’t want to see anyone suffering an illness this winter, alright?”
At the sudden laughter of the other, Luhan does his best not to physically jump when it startles him, though he does chance a curious gaze in the other's direction. He realises a long moment later that the other was having a laugh at his expense, and a shy grin tugs at the corners of his lips before his becomes more pronounced and he's joining in with a few small chuckles of his own. "Ah, I guess that was pretty absurd, huh," he murmurs in good humour, shaking his head at himself.
However, when a purr next escapes the feline beside him so close to his cheek, Luhan's eyes grow wide and he freezes, having never made someone purr before. The sound itself is soothing as it reverberates through them both, and Luhan realises he can just as easily fall asleep here with Jaejoong's purring to lull him into what would possibly be the best nap in his existence. It grows louder and Luhan can feel his eyes slipping shut without hesitation before it suddenly stops, and Luhan and unwillingly dragged back from his subconscious. Blinking a few times, he listens carefully to the words of the other, though of course thoughts of a nap with the elder still linger in the back of his mind.
"Me either, honestly. If I were to stay here with all of you, HySol will forever be my one true home, and I think if a time came where I would have to leave, then I would be terribly upset." His own noises of contentment leave his throat as the other cards soothing fingers through the strands of his hair, his ears falling to the sides, unprompted and twitching with happiness when fingers brush past their bases. "But you are one we all look up to," he murmurs as he struggles to focus once more through the lovely petting, "and you are the one we have the most faith in. Even if you try not to think about the bad things, that's why makes you such a good hyung."
He snuggles closer into the hug without hesitation, and his arms easily settle around the elder's torso. He nods against the other's shoulder where his cheek is pressed, a smile painting itself across his lips. "Indeed, I very much liked the gift, hyung." He grins as the other pulls back, nodding vehemently in understanding. "Yes, sir! You should stay warm, too, though! It would be bad if my favourite hyung caught a cold and couldn't take naps with me," he pouted to show his sincerity, though he grinned a few seconds later. "Don't tell Yixing you're my favourite, though."
@luhanamx
Luhan couldn’t hold onto his ire for the strands of confusion that wrapped around his mind instead, and the fox suddenly became very flustered, willing away the blush that had intensified nonetheless upon his cheeks. “Y-yeah, well that wasn’t sweet at all! Or gentle, or nice, or anything. I bet you’re a terrible kisser as it is,” the elder hisses, his tongue still throbbing dully. He couldn’t make sense of the events that had transpired within the past few moments, and he was sure that they’d garnered more attention that Luhan was ever accustomed to receiving. Multiple pairs of gazes were trapped on the arguing hybrids, and he was suddenly self-conscious, though he wasn’t about to back down without a fight. “Either way, you kissed me, and that’s the truth about it. You’re the one that’s being stupid!” With a huff, the other crossed his arms, his eyes narrowing into slits of aggravation directed at the other. “You should be proud that you had the opportunity to kiss a fox like me.“
“Then it wasn’t a kiss! I’ll never kiss you! This was me biting your tongue as a punishment and hoping to cause you pain and anger and possibly make your tongue bruised enough so you couldn’t speak for a while.” He huffs and looks away. “I didn’t kiss you! Don’t say stupid things, you stupid… stupid fox!” He smacked the other’s shoulder with a hiss. “I will not be grateful for that because that’s gross and you’re gross and I do not want us even pretending this was anything close to being something as cute and romantic as a kiss!” He snorted. “I’m a great kisser for your information! And proud? Ew. Why would I be anything close to proud kissing a gross fox!”
The fox had to admit that his tongue was hurting a bit, and even though it wasn't painful to speak, it was still sensitive to making many syllables. Frowning at the younger hybrid, he uncrosses his arms and idly picks at a loose thread at the hem of his favourite sweater. "As far as the world--and probably the rest of the lobby still looking--is concerned, that was definitely a kiss, you dumb cat." His expression took on an indignant facade, and even though Luhan wasn't normally one to argue ever, the other had hurt his pride as a Vulpine. "Excuse you! When was the last time you even had a kiss? That was absolutely terrible, and you can't even deny that! Hmph, your kissing skills will never match up to mine," he boasts, bluffing terribly and hoping the younger wouldn't catch him.

Bright orange leaks ran along the length of the frozen treat, caught lazily between a pair of lips meant solely to hold the item in place; it was below freezing outside, but when it came to enjoying the newfound heat within the walls of HySol, it was easy for the bunny to busy himself with his own stash of popsicles— this one orange creamsicle, for that matter: the best of its kind— indulging in the sweet release to his senses upon contact to the warmth lining delicately around the contours of his mouth. Where is Luhan, he wanted to ask, as his mind always seemed to follow along such a familiar path, for as much as he wanted to pout in response to the lack of affection to his fox, the elder was nowhere to be found.
And he was just a needy bunny, generally. Cheeks puffed, he nipped lightly at the treat, ears flickering idly as his attention caught to the smaller device in his free hand; settled comfortably on his self-proclaimed perch in the lobby, Chaejin brought his legs underneath to a pretzel-like cross, hitting the power button to the edge of his 3DS. “M'gonna’ catch Lugia today.” He swore to himself, mouth still taken up with his Popsicle. “Yes this is a thing.” What a sight it was to see a hybrid dangling along the brink of insanity as he spoke words of encouragement to himself.
Tail flickering in light ripples behind him, Luhan stretches as he wakes up late for once in his life. He glances around his room with sleep-laden eyes before he rubs them in an effort to clear his vision. When it becomes bright enough to see, he swings his legs over his bed and makes quick work of his morning routine. He's washed up, dressed--it may have been frigid on the other side of these walls and inside was fairly warm, but even so, the fox can't bear to part with his most beloved sweater--and his room is clean in all of an hour, and he takes a cursory glance outside the window. The outside world still seems so cold, and he can't wait for spring to see the petals of all different colours litter the ground around them. His mind travels vaguely to wondering what his best friend could be up to this morning, and in that light, he decides to take an unusual trip down to the lounge.
He treads with cautious steps and his eyes wander somewhat lazily over what seem to be the lounge's normal patrons, though just as he's about to turn back, his eyes land on a familiar set of ears atop a hunched up figure. Tail twitching eagerly, Luhan quietly takes steps in order to sneak up behind the younger hybrid before bringing his head to rest on the other's shoulder with a grin. "Talking to yourself, Chae? Lugia won't come if--" His sentence stops short as his eyes land on the popsicle hanging from the other's mouth, and he instantly becomes intrigued in the sweet treat instead of teasing his boyfriend. "Is that...a Popsicle?"

amxmyungsoo:
Upon seeing the approaching male, Myungsoo’s mood instantly brightened (not that he’d let it visibly show.) His eyes following the latter’s steps as he made his way towards their table, barely managing to stifle a laugh as the other male stumbled slightly before righting himself.
Myungsoo simply greeting the male with a soft “hello” and a nod of his head before gesturing for the other to sit. “Not long,” he stated, words short and sweet (the exact opposite of him) as he pondered for more words to say. Not that it mattered much, the silence between the two had come to be reasonably comfortable enough for the feline not to worry whenever they were together. The feline noticed the male’s eyes drifting to his drink, eyes creating a habit out of watching each movement the other made.
“Drink?” He questioned, head turning towards the counter, ready to get up from his seat to possibly order for the male before realizing he didn’t know what the other would like. “What would you like?” He turned back, half way out of his seat, “we can drink a bit before we go for pictures.”
The other seemed...happier, somehow today, and Luhan wasn't what it was due to, but he could be absolutely sure that he'd rather deal with a vaguely happy stranger than one that seemed like he was ready to rip Luhan's tail off without a second glance. His face was void of any emotion, but Luhan could sense a spark deep in the other's eyes when he finally spoke.
Cheeks yet still pink from his earlier accidental blunder Luhan simply nods, afraid that if he speaks it will give his voice away. He figures he has to eventually though, because obviously the male couldn't read minds and he wouldn't know what he wanted if he didn't speak up about it. "O-oh, I just...I'll take a hot chocolate, if they have any," he grins somewhat sheepishly at the half-standing, half-sitting position the other rests in before he returns his gaze to his hands that rested idly in front of him.
He quite liked the way they were able to have such silence between them without it seeming awkward and uncomfortable, like most silences tended to be. He understood well that the other wasn't one for talking, and neither was the flustered fox, but hopefully that would work out equally in their favours.
A note is left in here quietly, sealed with hopes that the fox would like the small array of words written in a scrawl that could only define the sender. "Hi hello yes I need you to stop being cute pretty please my heart is doing funny things and I don't know how I should handle them! Please be nice and stop this cute thing ( but don't really because it's perfect like you! ). —Not Chaejin"
He happens upon the mysterious letter with a curious expression, head tilted to the side as his nose picks up a familiar scent left behind. Reading over the words again and again, a wide smile is spread fondly across the fox’s lips and he holds the note close to his chest, a small manly noise of happiness leaving his lips even as his cheeks dust pink. He decides that he’ll hang it up in his room, since it’s such a sweet gesture from someone that’s ‘not Chaejin.’
Parting his lips to the appendage, he nipped at the finger slightly, expression filling undoubtedly with childishness. Keeping his tone silent, he chose to busy himself with the finger instead, the graze of his teeth never quite willing to bring harm to his little ray of sunshine. "I want a– thing. That people do... With their–" Stopping short, he moved from the elder's finger, hands circling around Luhan's wrist to bring the appendage to a light tap upon his lips. "Their... This."
Luhan was vaguely surprised when he felt plush lips give way to his teasing finger, and it tickles as the other’s teeth worry gently at his fingertip. A small manly giggle leaves his lips as the ministrations continue, though he’s swamped with another wave of curiosity as the other speaks once more. A gentle smile lifts the curvature of his lips and he nods as the subject of Chaejin’s unspoken question only becomes that much more clearer to the elder, and he decided to grant the other’s birthday wish. Leaning in slowly and letting his eyes slip shut in the process, Luhan gently presses his lips to Chaejin’s for the simultaneously longest and shortest five seconds of the fox’s life. “Happy birthday, Chae Jinseok.”
Exhaling in relief, he found that he couldn't– or rather wouldn't, move from the boy's lap, quite inclined to keep his place. In an attempt to refrain from covering his cheeks, he shifted a to a side-sit, hands upon his thighs lightly, almost childishly, to enunciate the pout jutting his lower lip to a quiver. Raising a hand, he pointed shyly to his lips, not knowing how to ask properly. "Happy birthday to me, maybe?"
Luhan’s hands rested comfortably together as his arms encircled the younger’s torso, and he had to admit, he quite liked having the younger so close–it reminded him of their good times, and a warm feeling surged up. His eyes dart to the bunny’s quivering lip in mild curiosity, and it amused him to no end just how adorable his precious beloved could be. He tilted his head to the side and he knew exactly what the younger was asking for, even if he was too shy to say it aloud. He knew, and yet still, the fox couldn’t help his sly and teasing nature from rearing its head. “Ah, yes, Happy Birthday to Prince Chaejin,” he grins, reaching a finger up to poke at the other’s lips. “What would you like?”
"Your inbox says 'You needed something?' so how do I tell it that I need you–"
“Oh dear God I’m so–” He blushes bright red and covers his face as a thousand different thoughts pop into mind, none of which he was too keen on voicing aloud, though his next sentence comes in a barely audible whisper. “How do I tell you I feel the same–”
Puffing his cheeks embarrassedly, he snuck into the fox's apartment quietly, waddling over sleepily to his favourite person ( in the whole wide world ) keeping silent for a moment before he seated himself comfortably in the elder's lap. "Hi yes hello I think you're really cute." He mumbled, angling his head back to press a kiss to Luhan's cheek. "That's all I can go now--"
He’d been lounging around lazily, as per usual, though his thoughts happened to keep drifting in direction towards a certain bunny. He’d been worried about his earlier trip to the bunny’s room to drop off his birthday presents, and he could only hope that the younger had enjoyed them as much as Luhan had enjoyed picking them out. He’d used the last of the remaining balance on his gift card from HySol to pay for everything, but it was all done with love for the bunny.
His eyes had slipped shut as he sat curled up in his favourite armchair, and even though his hearing was sharp as ever, it still dulled when the fox wasn’t necessarily paying attention. It startled him to no end to find Chaejin standing directly in front of him a few moments later, and the fox jumped, wondering if his thoughts alone had summoned the bunny, and this was merely a figment of his imagination. When neither said a word and Chaejin moved to comfortably situate himself on Luhan’s lap, he realised it indeed was real, and a smile twitched over his lips as his arms came easily around the other’s waist to hold him in place.
Blinking at the sudden proclamation, Luhan’s ears twitched just as the fox’s cheeks took on a slight pink hue ( as they normally did wherever Chaejin was concerned these days ). “I–” He’s cut short when a kiss is pressed to his reddened cheek, and it flushes impossibly pinker even if his smile returns thereafter. “Leaving so soon? But you just got here,” he hums, his voice taking on a petulant tone as he leans up to plant a gentle, albeit nervous peck against the other’s cheek in return. “And there. Consider it a, ah, birthday kiss.”
🎀 Have yourself a merry little Christmas Let your heart be light 🎀
Today is a beautiful day, and I hope a precious snowflake such as yourself always serves to remember just how amazing you happen to be.
To Luhan, he knew his gift had to be special, which was why it took him such an extensive amount of time to finally come to terms with the funds needed in order to purchase the perfect gift. Wanting very much to have a hand in the making, he decided to convey something meaningful– a way of presenting just how much his fox meant to him with the use of a simple gift. Or ah, gifts seeing as he couldn’t have chosen just one.
[ x ] [ x ] [ x ]
Luhan's not entirely sure of the first thought that skitters through his mind upon realising that his bunny prince has left him a Christmas gift, and his eyes widen upon spotting it. The bear is quite large and he falls in love at first sight, much like a child would at the prospect of laying eyes upon such a promising friend to snuggle with. However, the tug to his heartstrings occurs at full force when he spots the mason jar and the necklace, and he gingerly reaches for it. It takes his a moment of examining the small pendant with a smile tugging at his lips before he finally slips it around his neck, the metal feeling strangely warm where it lay against his pale skin. He eyes the jar curiously now, peeking at the tag attached just before his heart stutters in its steady rhythm. His heart swells with an emotion he's only able to name as love for the younger, and he promises himself to make Chaejin's birthday the best he can.
amxjaejoong:
Listening to Luhan, Jaejoong feels as though he’s getting to know a part of the younger he hasn’t met before, and it gives him a mental image of someone new, and so very different from how he’d seen Luhan in his mind thus far. That isn’t a bad thing though, instead, it intrigues Jaejoong, has him feeling like he’s listening to a well loved piece of music, something classic, but then hearing a different rendition of it and being surprised by the new imagination that brought it life. While it is a serious topic, he doesn’t feel burdened in the slightest by listening to Luhan speak his views, but instead feels like the discussion is taking them outside of their familiar walls without being daunting in its venture of the unknown.
Unable to let such a notion of the other wanting Jaejoong to stay in his life, even after that fateful adoption that had so many hybrids leaving without being known again from their starting place, Jaejoong winds up keeping their hands still clasped together. Tugging Luhan closer. he rubs their cheeks together affectionately with his eyes closing in delight. He’s just on the edge of a purr developing, his happiness only needing a slightly more thorough soak in his chest to produce that sound.
“Maybe we could talk the company into giving some kind of deal,” he says, half in jest and half in actual curiosity. “Or maybe I’d be given for a lower price? I’m not so young as I used to be, not to mention there’s many of these humans that stumble around how to deal with me.” His words come with a warm tone, like he finds the humans who don’t know what to do with a blind hybrid amusing, no hint of remorse or bitterness to be found in his voice. He’s making fun of those rich people, always having found it funny that they could talk as if they knew so much, but then be baffled by a creature who couldn’t see their well maintained appearances.
“You spoke of Chae-ah, and the others, who have returned to us, and I felt what you’ve said, about their smiles having gone away. It hurts to think of, but, I think that’s the risk, wherever there is happiness possible, the opposite can be found too. I hurt the most though, if they have thought that reason to give up on their happiness. And not for someone else, but just for themselves. There is no reason why here can not be home. I am always happy to have them home with me.”
Luhan's not sure what brought about such a change of emotions, but he knows that it isn't exactly unwelcome. It is a foreign topic to him, being able to show such things in front of others, but Jaejoong has become one that Luhan doesn't necessarily mind opening up around, and the elder is one he finds immense comfort in. With Jaejoong's easily given smiles, to his kind demeanour and lovely personality, down to the quirks and tidbits that made Jaejoong, Jaejoong, it was hard not to be at ease around the feline.
With such thoughts, it doesn't bother him the least bit when he's tugged into a close hold, with the feline's cheeks pressed against his own. In fact, Luhan quite melts into the touch, an unsure smile twitching across his lips that quickly becomes content. His tail waves lazily behind him in a display of happiness, and he shuffles closer to the other in order to have them lean on one another. His eyes alight with excitement at the prospect Jaejoong offers, and he nods against he other, humming in thought.
"I agree, and even if I'm younger, I'm not exactly one of the newer ones either. I'm already 22 as it is, and in spring I'll age another year," he muses thoughtfully, brushing his thumb unconsciously over the elder's knuckles. "Even if they don't know how to deal with you, I'm sure someone will come along and see you for who you really are. How could they not love you? You're kind, genuine, and a true inspiration, you're thoughtful and caring, and...and..." he takes a breather and blinks, noting that he's caught himself in the midst of yet another ramble.
"Ah, sorry..." he apologises sheepishly, though he perks up at the other's last few words. It sends the younger into thought for a short while, though the silence isn't uncomfortable as he's left to his thoughts. He speaks after a while, his voice sure and steady. "I think you're right. After all, for all the evil that exists, there has to be some good, right? I don't mean to feel so pessimistic," he mumbles dejectedly, letting their clasped hands fall between them, "but I wish I could see for myself. I'm so curious, but I'm afraid too. I think I'd just prefer staying here with you and Chaejin," he smiles softly.

Even if one were to place it in reality's terms and be the harbinger of news to Luhan's conscious that this was in fact his second kiss, the young fox considered it special enough to be considered his first, and he would do as such, believing so with every fibre of his being that his memory would consistently replay this very scene when asked about his very first kiss. He couldn't be sure that his...incident with a certain feline wouldn't come up afterwards, however, but he certainly wouldn't mention it to listening ears. He let his eyes slip shut in an effort to conserve the memoir just a bit longer, holding onto it as if it were his mental lifeline and enjoying the moments granted to do so. He could feel Chaejin's face on his chest then, and a short glance down granted him the sight of the top of the bunny's head, as the younger was most definitely trying to hide his face, it seemed. With an amused smile at the onslaught of jumbled words together in one breath, Luhan reaches up once more to tug on one long furry appendage, his voice soothing and gentle as he does his best to calm his own heartbeat once the words register within the confines of his mind. However, it's the last part of his ramble that has Luhan freezing in place, his heart fluttering in staccato as he realises just what's been admitted aloud.
"Chae..." he begins, his voice soft and thick with underlying emotion that he himself couldn't make sense of. His thoughts are a jumbled mess, but the one that keeps surfacing to the front is full of bright, genuine excitement and innocent, heartfelt love for his bunny, and tells him that even if this all turned out to be a cruel game that his mind had decided to play while he was asleep, he'd hoped to never awaken. He tries to speak again, and his arms tighten marginally around the other even as he tries to keep the childishly hopefully smile from dancing across his lips. "Chaejin, I don't hate you. I never have, and I'm pretty sure I never will." There, that was easy enough. Now, on to everything else, he thinks. His lips still hold a phantom tingle as he speaks, and he finally allows the grin he's been holding back to surface, and it paints himself from cheek to cheek as his eyes curl to form dark half-moons. His head tilts as he rests his chin atop the head of the younger, one of the long ears still caughts between his thumb and forefinger. He runs it between his fingers gently as he speaks, doing his best to keep his voice even and natural, even if his heartbeat wasn't exactly so. "I am happy that you wanted your first kiss to be with me. I...felt the same way," he hums, his own cheeks growing redder once more. "Ah, would you...would you care for another kiss?" He leans back enough so that he's able to finally see the face of the younger, and it amuses and enraptures him to no end to see those beautiful cheeks stained pink. "Mm, it'll really be me. Also, I should say thank you for admitting that my lips look nice." A signature teasing grin crosses over his own as he nods, and he leans down just enough so that their lips meet once more, the gentle touch of eliciting yet another flutter of heartbeats from the elder. After a long few seconds, he pulled back, his eyes searching the gaze of the other. "It really was you."
