If that sounds like a chaotic mess... it probably is, BUT it will hopefully make sense if given time.

This is a project I’ve been workshopping for a long time, and after many drafts, I think it’s finally ready for a proper start. I wanted to wait until I had a full proper chapter finished to show (not counting the opening/prelude chapter).

Fair warning that it is read from right to left, to truly mimic that manga vibe.

It also will eventually deal with horror, intense violence and mature subjects, so read at your own discretion.

Chapter 1 Redux is taking longer than anticipated, but I am still making quick progress, considering how long this all took originally — my process is a lot more streamlined, the file is better optimized thanks to my gained experience with CSP. I only have a few more pages left to do before moving on to Log 1 again.

A Part 2 should be up shortly after this one, and a third will be posted as soon as I’m done with the remainder of Chapter 1.

OMEGAlomaniac! | 0 ~ Verset (Redux)

Yeah, been a while since I’ve updated OMEGA — surgery recovery is no joke, and I had no motivation to work on this (I also just kinda fell out of the routine of working on it and found it too hard to pick it back up). But in the time I’ve taken away from this project, I’ve rethought my approach to making this and made the tough decision to revamp the earlier pages, to A) update the intro to be more in-line with current plans for the story and iron out the clunkier parts of the dialogue, B) make the artstyle a touch cleaner and more consistent but also “simplified” so I can hopefully work at a quicker pace, and C) make better, more optimized use of Clip Studio with my improved understanding of the program.

And to kick things off, I made a brand new logo and front cover, both of which I am so much happier with!

(Also I’ve started using a different method of watermarking that’s a bit less obstructive but still does the job)

The cover does a better job capturing the vibe, and the logo has a lot more personality now.

The revamped Chapter 1 shouldn’t take long, these took relatively little time to make and I intend subsequent chapters to be rendered more simply overall, aside from select emphasis panels.

A monstrous, deformed receptionist shrouded in darkness;

An alarmingly dark and empty city;

A mysterious blue glow/figure at the end of an alleyway

Need to do a better job remembering to post new pages here. Next post will hopefully be soon, it’ll just be two pages, and afterwards, I’ll try to share them two at a time going forward.
