Maths Time Joy was partly the reason I wanted to start this blog, listening to Tim Worthington's music, particularly his Hideaway EP really put me in the mood to get a blog up and running. What I love about his sounds are the pitch varying vocals and atmospheric samples, the beautifully crafted beats often consisting of finger snaps, glockenspiel like hits and fluttering hi hats, and the combination of delicate popping plucks and the throbbing synth lines.
Maths Time Joy’s music has significantly less resonance/echo than a lot of other music I listen to, which I love because in my opinion it keeps his tracks sounding crisp and it means the music sound closer and more present somehow, as if it’s actually inside my head.

A change of name
I've come to realise that most of the things I post are things I have found and not my own work, so lukework was a bit of a misleading name. My blog is now called lukefoundthis.
Love this!
