a portion of softness for all of you 💫
How odd, I can have all this inside me and to you it’s just words.

For International Women’s Day 2017, we celebrate the Guerilla Girls.
Formed in 1985, the Guerrilla Girls are an anonymous American female activist group who seek to expose discrimination in the art world. Their targets include museums, dealers, curators and art critics.Their individual identities are always concealed behind the signature gorilla masks. Over the years their attacks on sexism have widened to other areas of social, racial and gender-based inequality.
This is one of thirty posters published in a portfolio entitled Guerrilla Girls Talk Back, which targets museums, dealers, curators, critics and artists who they felt were actively responsible for, or complicit in, the exclusion of women and non-white artists from mainstream exhibitions and publications.
Happy women’s day!
Everything was falling into place.

Striking Jewelry Beautifully Fuses Metal Pendants with Embroidery
Sigal Vaknin of Oma uses different craft techniques to create singularly stunning pieces of jewelry. Combining metal pendants with embroidery, the necklaces celebrate the fuzziness of fiber with the striking glean of gold. Together, they’re a welcome fusion of hard and soft. See more of these stylish accessories in the Oma Etsy shop.
