Elf AU

Kakureru - Nomu Aizawa

Here he is. The official redesign for Kakureru. I worked off that eariler concept, dropped the in tentacles and was hit with the idea of using the cursed flesh scarf concept in this and holy shit does it work for a Nomu. 

Also can someone like…send me the link to the original concept of the flesh scarf thing so I can give credit? 

Edit: I figured it was nartothelar but I wanted to make sure. So thank you @nartothelar​ for the wonderfully cursed idea of the flesh scarf. Your pictures spawned this idea anyways.

The Kurayami AU

The Kurayami au is a nomu Aizawa au that takes place in a Ranking AU scenario. I live to mash together aus.

As with all of my ranking au scenarios, the Commission is the real villain of the story, which leaves AFO in a spot where I can make him the better of the two. This is an au where AFO grows a heart basically due to taking in these two kids rip.

Shouta was experimented on, brainwashed, and trained by the commission to track down the now vigilante/villain rooftop squad. He failed multiple times, so they decided to start using him for spare parts by the time AFO decided to raid the Commission Facility he was in. No name, no memories, no hope, Shouta was only known as Null then. AFO had to pull out some recessive quirks in his genes to actually get his body funtioning again. Hence the nomu part of all this. Gave him the new name of Kurayami and tasked him to watch after Tomura as well as other tasks.

At the time of this au taking place, Shouta and the rooftop squad are 20ish, and Shouta was Null from 16 to to 18, so he's been in AFO's care for 2 yrs.

Meliodas eye sketches, anyone?

Thought about linearting these, but... nah. They look better as sketches and they're only meant to be references anyway. And for you're enjoyment, of course. The roughness gives them charm, I think.

I had the insatiable need to draw the boy and his freaky second set of eyes, and how they affect his facial expressions. My freaky little boy, the morally dubious light of my life. And there's a better look at what his horns look like in the middle, there! Wasn't sure what to do with the demon marking in that one, so I just played around.

Enjoy the crumbs of content! One day we'll post the comic prologue on here, I promise. For now, school is beating my ass. But we'll get there!

Bet ya'll weren't anticipating this one, huh? Well, I've decided that Mama Liones deserved some relevance before the story, so I've actually given her a face! (unlike Nakaba)

Caroline's design is, of course, mostly based around Margaret who she shares the most likeness with. They share design similarities with clothing, like the belt and the veil, and I tried to somewhat go off of what she looked like in the brief panel we were given in the manga. She's not in anything as regal as Margaret mostly because she was a Queen Consort rather than an heir to the throne, but I still wanted to have her look the part of royalty. The color purple is often associated with royalty and wealth, and the black and yellow are good complimentary colors that keep with the sophistication around her and the light brought to the kingdom and the family. It took me a while to figure out the design for her crown, too, but I like how it turned out.

Obviously, Caroline is dead in canon, but she was still around before the whole treason thing happened. She never had much of a presence before, aside from being mentioned once by Elizabeth and apparently dying in an event that was completely irrelevant to the story. We're changing that this time around, allowing her to be more important to the Kingdom back in the day and more important to her daughters in the present day since they lost her the same day Zaratras was murdered.

In my mind, while Bartra is the one on the throne and who the people look to for guidance, Caroline was largely most of the power behind the throne. She would've been the one who gave the Sins a lot of their missions while Bartra was busy with other official matters, and she would also be the one to communicate and grow alliances with other kingdoms and possibly even other Clans; her loss would've likely been felt across the country, and the relations between Liones and other kingdoms could've possibly deteriorated and never be the same.

Caroline just means a lot to me, and I want her to have a legacy in the story and to be loved by her family, no matter how young the girls were when she died.

So remember how I said the Boar Hat would only have minimal changes? Yeah, so apparently that was a fucking lie.

Also, apparently I do architecture and interior design now. Who would've thought?

As you can see, the Boar Hat is now much bigger than it originally was. Architecturally unstable? Perhaps. But this is anime, and we don't care about that kind of logic; the important thing is that everyone now has their own rooms! I also wanted to keep it similar to the original design, because I just think it has a certain charm and hominess to it that the second design (from later in the series) just doesn't.

I'll admit I'm not the best at interiors, but I hope I managed to convey where almost everything is in a way that makes sense. Designing the rooms was a real treat, especially the duality of King and Ban's rooms. I might add some vents here and there later on, since I have this funny image of the Sins all yelling at each other through the vents to different floors, but we'll see.
