Reappeared || Laurent & Severa

     There was so much that needed to be done. Not that any of it could necessarily be considered mandatory. It was merely Severa’s own personal agenda. There wasn’t anything in particular that was assigned for her to do and any small things that could’ve been her responsibility had been done with for the day. Now, the mercenary had quite the amount of time to fill.

     As to what with, all were skills she felt the need to improve in. The list was, to her surprise and perhaps hers only, a tad extensive. Just a tad. Needless to say she wanted to cross these skills off her list as quickly as she could. However, the journal in which this was kept in seemed to have gone missing, and without it, she couldn’t remember which set of skills were to be tackled first.

     After wandering around, trying to retrace her steps, Severa had almost given up for the time being in her quest to find her journal when Laurent had called out to her. Ready to play the infamous “I’m-busy-what-do-you-want” card, words seemed to be caught in her throat the moment her red gaze landed on the “chronicle” held in his hands.

     "Where did you find that?! Give me it!" Not a word of thanks came to the immediate mind as she took the journal from him. "I’ve been looking everywhere for this! You better not have looked in it."

                   — “No, I certainly did not read through your journal, Severa.” A rather dejected sigh escaped the mage’s throat, eventhough he knew giving the journal back without having a look at it was the right thing to do, the woman did not seem to apprechiate it. But then again, she also seemed to try her best in avoiding direct contact to him. 

            The book seemed to be of enourmous worth for Severa, as she bluntly grasped the journal out of Laurent’s hands. But at least he had found the rightful owner right at the first try of his asking. Laurent shortly nodded, as his thoughts stopped swirling through things he could now say to initiate a conversation, but since he had already figured she appearently had better things to do,he put it at ease. Severa’s stern reaction also lended him some evidence, that she was probably just as busy as always.

             Laurent rose his hand, as gesture to say something and drew a loud breath but closed his mouth the instant he originally wanted to speak. The other one had started flipping trough the journal’s pages and it seemed rather rude to just interrupt her like that. His glance wandered to the right, looking for something to shed thoughts about, while he waited for Severa to finish her action.
