god I miss this show
AND WE’RE SO BACK???
The plot of the new TOH graphic novel (The Long-Lived King) is that Luz loses her memory.....and this leaves room for Lumity to happen all over again, which makes me both really sad for Amity, and really excited for the cuteness of them meeting again.
I can't wait to make more drawings of these characters in their beautiful designs from the cover! :D
lumity is back💥💥
I just finished making this and I couldn't hold myself back from posting it so early
I MISSES MY BABIES SO MUCH 😭😭❤️🩹
It feels so refreshing drawing TOH stuff again after so long 🥹 I am BEYOND excited for the upcoming graphic novel so I wanted to contribute to the fandom ✨
this part is so important #toME!!!!!!! because diya really doesn't see herself as quiet. she's not really like... shy. or timid. just... anxious, and yes, quiet. but she doesn't think she is. because she talks in her mind!! so many of her lines in her pov are just her monologuing or making comments in her mind, she often answers questions in her mind rather than aloud. she IS quiet, but she doesn't think she is because she's so internally focused. and because diya is the first pov, we're kinda... inclined to agree with her? it's obvious that she's anxious, but we get so much of her internal world and thoughts and feelings because we're her. but once u play the other povs that's just... non-existent. because she doesn't voice these thoughts. because she is quiet. idk i find it interesting
I love the end of butterfly soup 2 because it's practically a hard cut from noelle saying "omg.... two women can copulate?!" to her literally handcuffing akarsha to the bedframe
Concept; Akko doing very advanced and high level spells with no problem purely because she has no idea they’re supposed to be hard
She has trouble with some of the most basic magic so of course no one tells her about these spells. But somehow, instead of sitting there overthinking it like she does with her broom and spells she knows she should already know, she just…does these incredibly advanced things because no one told her it was supposed to take strict discipline and grueling training.
Diana is torn between her feelings of “Wow! My girlfriend is so talented!” and “I spent two long weeks studying every book known to man about wandless levitation magic and Akko learned it in a day because she didn’t want to get up to grab her chips. I am going to fucking throttle her.”
To expand; all of the advanced tricks Akko somehow teaches herself were meant as workarounds for the basic magic that she still somehow fails at.
She’ll work herself to frustration trying to keep a broom steady in the air, and when the test comes, she somehow does a personal levitation spell while holding onto her broom to try and make it look like she’s flying. Nelson knows she should technically fail her but…where did she learn to do that? How did she learn to do that?
She can’t fix a broken pair of glasses like literally every other witch can, but she can somehow cast a hyper realistic illusion spell to make it look like the glasses are fixed, while hiding the broken frame behind her back. Once the head librarian found Akko in the library magically levitating a full 13 books and papers around her head without even focusing on it…and the question she stressing herself out on was the names of the Nine Olde Witches. Literally first grader knowledge.
The faculty is completely unsure if this counts as making progress or not.
She cant fix the statue but she just made a brand new one that’s 10x the size
She can’t heal a minor wound but she can close the limb.
She can’t light a candle but she can summon a dragon to do it for her
She can’t make objects levitate but if she creates a storm large enough that should work.
for you i would!
Close enough. Welcome back, Lumity.
we share a warriors bond (we were both in the same fandom at the same time and now neither of us are in that fandom anymore but we’re still beloved mutuals)
every time i see this image i can't help but think of luz noceda
like literally
What's this?? Diyamin to promote ppkmweek2025??? It's more likely than you think...
Preview for my day one of ppkm week! Very excited for next month 👀
