one thing i am quite grateful to Brian David Gilbert for is the phrase "If you needed ME to tell you that... I'm glad I told you that."
it has been etched into my brain for the past six years, fundamentally altering how i consider knowledge gaps held by others, as well as myself. people usually need to be told stuff before they can know it! that's how knowing stuff works! this is an extreme example played for laughs but it's a legitimately helpful philosophy!!
This was the best scene in the whole series
Scenes like this are great, because they go into religious horror without making the entire faith evil. Having a demon plainly state that the bishop is an arsehole and deserves hell is always a good plot, especially when the demon IS correct.
a demon telling you god is not real or god doesent care about humanity is easy to shrug off as demons lieing
but a demon telling you god is real, god is good and god hates your guts quite literally puts the fear of god in you, especially when your about to find out if hes right in about 20 seconds

People are already joking about how Toby might encounter a Gaster fun value in the game during the stream only to then skip it and never acknowledge it at all. It'd be a really sad yet also funny way of saying that Gaster is not getting an official mention, ever. (Unless he ends up having an important role in deltarune)
While Susie being the final boss of the weird route would be pretty cool (and definitely heartbreaking!) I don't really want Megalovania to show up again. It's already had its time in the sun with the Halloween Hack, Homestuck and being known as Sans' fight song. I'd rather we grow something new out of, say, Vs Susie and Hammer of Justice or the like.
I wouldn't put it outside the realm of possibility that the stream involves Toby and crew playing with fun values, since we did see a bit of that sort of teasing in the chapter one stream featuring Nubert and the annoying dog with maracas. I don't know if any fun value stuff should be taken as gospel involving Gaster's role in Deltarune, though. I'm pretty certain that Gaster is going to be important to Deltarune no matter what.

what's particularly funny about this is that crows very notably flap a lot for their wingspan-- they rarely glide for longer than a few seconds and they basically never soar around on thermals the way birds of prey do. so this lil guy is definitely having fun doing something weird!
