I haven't received any actual hate, surprisingly enough, so I'm not too bothered by the asks.

It's more that I'm very disappointed in the behavior certain fans are showing. It's kinda destroying my drive to create fanart and things for the ship tbh.

Thus, the hiatus. I don't know how long It'll be, just that I really don't feel like making friori content as of right now😔

I still enjoy the ship, and horizons in general. That hasn't changed.

I'll be back at some point.

I saw a FriOri shipper harassing someone for not shipping FriOri😭

When will this nightmare end

The og post with the harassment got deleted and there's just reblogs now but in the post someone talked about Orla being lesbian, a FriOri shipper put smth in the replies (it got deleted so IDK what)

but the OP explained they don't like FriOri and that seemed to piss off the FriOri shipper.

It's just tragic that some of our fellow FriOri shippers qre now harassing people for not shipping it.

Let's please not do not that.

SORRY I DISAPPEARED FOR A HOT MINUTE Y'ALL

I needed a break tbh (and also I finally caved and got pokopia so that's been occupying every moment of my free time for the past week oops-)

BUT I SWEAR I WILL MAKE MORE FRIORI STUFF EVENTUALLY THAT FIRE IS STILL BURNING(slowly and painfully but burning nonetheless. Especially after the latest episode.)

After the final battle, everyone is exhausted and nobody wants to be alone. So they all gather blankets in one room and spend the night as the found family they are. (Gramps volunteered to steer the ship, if you're wondering where he is)

Yeah, it would probably be best to ban ship-related asks. Fandoms, pokemon in particular, can be WAY too intense about shipping, to a toxic degree.

It doesn't matter if it's hate directed at the ship or at one of us. Just. Don't.

Don't ruin our reputation as shippers over something so trivial.

People are gonna have opinions. Some of them might seem mean or targeted towards someone we care about. Some of them are just concerned about our mental well-being. Some of them genuinely have a problem with the ship and that's okay. RESPECT THAT EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO THEIR OWN OPINIONS.

We don't have to like it. But trying to counter the hate or make fun of it is NOT. HELPING.

I HATE that I have to address this. I hate that it's gotten so out of hand and blown out of proportion.

From here on out, if you see friori hate, directed at either the ship or shippers themselves, just. Let it go. That's the mature thing to do.

First, while I'm not into yume, I don't want to see anybody bashing it. If it's not hurting anyone, let them do as they please.

You're fine, Anon. I know you didn't mean anything by it, and the others know that now, too. You didn't do anything wrong, you just came in at the wrong time, saying things that could be interpreted the wrong way.

I will say, your "I'll just shut up now" comment is not okay. It's guilt-tripping, even if you don't intend it that way, and is an unhealthy mindset. I recommend doing some self-reflection on why you felt like saying that. I don't know what your life looks like or what could have led to that mindset, but it's important that you realize saying things like that is not helpful to you, it's actively harmful.

As I've said, I believe in forgiveness. And I apply that to you as well. I sincerely hope that you are able to heal from whatever has hurt you.

You are welcome in the Friori community, just be mindful of your words and how they could affect others.

Hello, I'm the anon who gave the "Don't focus on it being canon" advice to Cove.

That was not meant as hate at all. I did not expect them to react to immaturely.

I figured it wasn't hate, and I agree that her reaction was not okay.

I did correct her assumption and let her know her behavior was not okay. She apologized.

However, everyone messes up sometimes, especially when we're having bad days. It's not an excuse, but I beleive in second chances and forgiveness.

I may be wrong but I suspect that english is not her first language and as such, she may have misunderstood what you were trying to say.

There's also been actual haters in the ask boxes of various friori shippers, and it's put most all of us pretty on edge, wondering when the next one is coming. Hopefully the situation improves soon.

I ask that you please give Cove some grace, she didn't mean to lash out like that, and I trust that she's reflected on her behavior and won't make the same mistake again.
