“Forests are living dreams made to get beautifully lost in.”
.
I can’t be close to the forest, so I keep the forest close to me 🌿🍄
ALTAR TIPS
• Don’t have the money for a nice altar cloth? A tablecloth, old article of clothing, blanket, or a place mat will work.
• Don’t worry about buying expensive items, work with what Mother Nature provides you. Fill your altar with flowers, leaves, pinecones, rocks, sticks, shells, driftwood, etc.
• Don’t have access or are you allergic to flowers? Fake flowers work just as well.
• Dollar stores have great altar decor, so do thrift stores!
• Anything can go on your altar, it doesn’t have to be set up a specific way. You can keep all your crystals on your altar, multiple candles, pictures, pendulums, tarot cards, stuffed animals, etc.
If you work with the elements, here’s a list of objects by element that you can place on your altar:
• EARTH - stones/rocks/pebbles, branches, dried herbs, dried flowers, berries, soil, live/fake plants, pictures or artwork of nature.
• AIR - Incense, feathers, pictures of artwork of birds, representations of the clouds and the sky.
• FIRE - candles, representations of the sun or pictures and artwork of fire, ashes, burnt herbs, ash/soot, red brick pieces or brick dust, burnt wood.
• WATER - seashells, driftwood, sea glass, sand, a mirror, a bowl/cup/chalice of water, rain water, pictures or artwork of the ocean, sea creature figures, seaweed.
