You might already have heard of Gurupop from the Gurupop show or from the giveaway links that have been floating around the social network sites - so let me introduce you!
Gurupop is a site for us K-Pop fans to become one big crazy family and spazz over whatever comes to our minds. Yeah, that’s what it is. Sorry if it sounds a bit weird - we aren’t that creepy!
The Gurupop Show used to run weekly on Wednesday mornings (KST) and it would be the opportunity for us to interact with our favourite idols and our AWESOME MC’s - JYP Rapper San E and DMTN’s Daniel, who actively translated the whole show live for us!
Gurupop Show guests so far include: Wonder Girls, Boyfriend, DMTN, B.A.P, MBLAQ, Girl’s Day, ZE:A, Dalshabet, U-KISS, EXID, BTOB & C-Clown!
Gurupop are currently trying to raise funds to start the second season!
Why are we suddenly promoting now?
Well… we have a problem. Because of financial issues, Gurupop is struggling to continue! (And that means no more Star Quests, no more Guruop show…. and no more G-Family!)
BUT there is a way we can help! And that is for possible new members to come and join us, and for the older members to become more active!
Gurupop is free, and the income is made from the ads on the page - so we need lots more visitors. Gurupop spends ALOT of money on the Star Quests and on filming The Gurupop Show, and we’d like to help them out more!
