I don’t know what I’m into. I don’t know what I like.
So everyday have to wonder: if I write
a million words about the way I think I feel,
will the world feel less complicated, will it show me what is real,
and what is fake in this world that is built upon deception?
And if the truth could be revealed, would we all retain the lesson?
Or would history repeat itself and let us all forget,
leading to actions and reactions that will fill us with regret?
I’m horrified by now’s events and how they’re normalized.
And I don’t know if I can make sense of all the reasons. Why
is this world full of hatred? What’s so wrong with love?
Why does no one care for those who fear death from above?
Do I know what I’m saying? Am I going mad?
Sometimes even I can’t tell. And I think it’s rather sad
that so many people hold such hate for people they don’t know,
while pastors preach their false beliefs, they’re putting on a show.
But we all know the truth, no matter how they try to hide it.
It’s all written out with proof, the criminals that they confide in.
It’s an outrage and a scandal, although few seem to care
about the island where the crime was and the things that happened there.
All the while they’re living lavish lives in towers way up high.
Built on the bones of victims forced to hide themselves or die.
We know whats going on, so it’s time to try to stop it,
tell them all we’ve had enough, time for them to hop it!
So what’s the answer? What’s to do?
Do they yet know their time is through?
They’re writing laws against us, to show us that they’re scared
of the idea that we might speak up, put their transgressions on the air.
So take up a flag as you’re walking down the street,
and laugh as politicians quiver at the sound of marching feet.
Make them regret the very moment we heard their laughter resound
as they all joked in their debates about the children in the ground.
