               daphne spent a great deal of time looking at clothes, shopping for them. it was on of the perks of running a boutique of her own. though she saw many familiar faces in the store, she was more than a little surprised to see the lovegood girl there. the blonde had long since distanced herself from the harsh things people have said about the girl and instead offered a kind smile at the comment.   ❛ it’s one of my favorites in the summer collection, ❜   daphne offered with an appreciative nod. it was too vibrant for her taste, but —   ❛ i think it would really bring out your eyes. ❜

Although she wasn’t a traditional fashionista, Luna had a love for clothing- especially the bright and beautiful. Holding the clothing in her hand, she found herself excited at the thought of trying it on. “It’s very pretty. I have a party to go to tonight and it’s best if I don’t show up in my usual robes. I usually wouldn’t care to change my look, but I was specifically asked to,” she explained. The robe was bright and cheery enough for Luna Lovegood but not too over the top to worry her hosts. It would definitely turn some heads, however.

Natasha decided to get some new robes as the weather here was a lot different then up north where she was from. Inside the robe shop she saw a woman with a brightly colored robe on, “Yea, it does look good”

A natural and cheery smiled creeped on her lips, glad she had the other’s approval. “Most people think my style is strange but I quite like it. It’s on my skin, anyways,” she says, holding it close to her. “What about you? Have an event on or just window shopping? I could help you look if you’d like!”

most people didn’t initiate casual conversation with her in public – it’s probably all the leather she wears – but the smile came easily to her, even if it wasn’t entirely genuine. she wasn’t daft, she recognised the lovegood girl, but there was no merit in her remarking on the fact that she knew her. “ not exactly what i’d choose to wear, but it suits you. ”

The fabric seemed quite warm and gentle to her skin, despite bring so bright and flashy. With a smile, Luna grabbed the robe and tried it on, doing a small twirl for the other. “You’re quite right. It does suit me. I’m not a big fan of black and grey,” she admits, before sheepishly blushing and retracting her statement, “Not that you’re not fashionable, I mean. Different styles suit different people.”

hannah FLUNG the tea towel over her shoulder as she put the last pint glass on the freshly polished shelf above the bar. she turned, starting to make work on the stubborn beer stains on the bar when her ears pricked up at the sound of the door of the leaky cauldron opening. “ sorry sweets, were not open yet. ” she stated with a sympathetic smile. “ unless you need something ? ”

Luna Lovegood was not the kind to sit at a bar before noon. But she found herself following a peculiar creature which seemed to enjoy the smell of alcohol, walking into the place without a thought until a voice called out to her. “No, my mistake. I was just following something,” she said, voice half-lost, not looking at the other for quite some time. “This is a peculiar place,” the blonde girl said, dressed in quite bright magenta robes.

✕ °.:｡ ☾ ◸ HOGWARTS had rooted his obsession with the sport. he’d fell in love with the feeling of flying, the feelings of being in the air and the freedom that felt laced inside of the man when he’d flown. his father hadn’t had interest in the sport when he’d attended hogwarts, the former hufflepuff had taken more interest in choir and diving into his studies. roger, although he could be studious at times, had loved quidditch more than anything else taught inside the confines of the castle. it’d carried out into his life after graduation, & he surely couldn’t imagine himself doing anything else, at least not happily. “ i hope i won’t get as popular as krum was back in his day, mate couldn’t go anywhere without getting stopped for pictures. that’s be a bit annoying, wouldn’t you say ? ” he asked, his eyes closed as he took in her next words. a quick sigh coming out of his nose before he shook his head slightly, “ funny color like, green ? or blue ? so if i’m pissing purple that’s okay, but orange is the one where i should go see my healer ? ” he questioned, still walking besides her, “ anything you’re in the mood for ? it’s on me, after all. ”  

The blonde girl’s eyebrow raised in question, as if unsure if he had heard her. “Of course. Orange means there’s something wrong with your system. Purple may mean you’ve just eaten too many candies,” she said, as a matter of factly, as if he was the silly one. A smile played on the corner of her lips, “I was feeling like a good, hearty, English meal. Something with chicken and mash. Although I hope you don’t consider me too much of a burden. I may be small but I do tend to eat a lot,” she confessed. Luna had always been the loner type, but that didn’t bother her at all. She couldn’t have imagined having friends to go to dinner with a few years ago, but the war had changed much of her. She still remained dreamy eyed, but with more edge than before. “I’m quite tired. Being a magic zoologist is fun, getting to work with animals and plants, but some of the creatures are quite dangerous. My healer has grown tired of having to retrieve venom from my hand when I touch my creatures for too long,” she explained, somewhat exasperated.

Luna Lovegood clothes shopping was quite a sight for sore eyes. Grabbing the end of the robes, the blonde girl looked underneath it, double checking if the stitching was consistent through out and if the colour was just as bright on the inside. “Looks quite good for summer, don’t you think?” she asked, not looking at the other but speaking all the same.

✕ °.:｡ ☾ ◸ HANDS raised, as if he was calming down a crowd, roger walked over, adjusting the gym bag he’d always taken to practice on his shoulder, distributing the weight. the pads, helmets and things (even if he was just bringing his practice ones home to get washed) has weighed more than they’d thought ! “ thank you, thank you, no autographs please !” roger joked, waving by to one of his teammates before his eyes focused on the vial the little witch held in her hands, “ you know, i’m not supposed to take steroids. trying to drug me ? ” his tone kept light, although without a second thought he took the scarily blue liquid into his mouth, ‘what’s the worst that would happen ? ’ he doubted the witch would poison him.

Although Luna could not understand why so many wizards and witches were obsessed with the game but that didn’t mean she didn’t enjoy watching it. Dressed in bright blue and decorated with weird and wonderful accessories, she was always dressed more eccentric than her peers. “You and I both know you have a great future ahead. I’m sure with time, you’ll be saying that for real,” she smiles, happy he accepted the drink form her. Most people did not. “It should help any potential sore muscles from disappearing and help you relax. Your pee may be a funny colour for the next few days but that’s normal. Unless it’s orange, then I suggest a trip to the doctors,” Luna responded, as if it was perfectly normal. “Let’s go eat.”

The bloody marriage law was doing rounds in Luna’s mind. Usually so cheery and kind, she never thought she would be subject so such a confusing sadness. With a sigh, she looked over at her favourite plant, Consorcio, and found herself sitting in silence. The dreamy girl was so engrossed in her thoughts and in her own world that she didn’t notice a familiar figure walking into her (often unlocked) home.

Luna was engrossed with the large, somewhat-scaly looking plant, half-day dreaming. It took a moment for her to come back to reality, “Sorry Ginny, what were you saying? Francesca here needed to talk quite urgently.” Francesca, of course, was the plant.

After the other finished his closed Quidditch practice, Luna gave the other a smile and a clap of her hands. “You were great!” she said, before grabbing a vial in her bag. “I have something to help your tiredness- would you like it?” The liquid in the vial bubbled a bright blue, white sparkles glittering in the afternoon sun.

“hey hey hey–” marcus was waving his hands as he jogged up obviously trying to stop whoever was approaching. “did you not see the signs? there’s a peruvian vipertooth, somewhat, on the loose so you really CAN’T be around this area. if you’ve never encountered one before, trust me you don’t want to.” he gave sort of a chuckle trying to make light of the situation. it wasn’t his fault the beast managed to escape, but it was his team and so automatically he was placing some of the blame on himself. working with dragons wasn’t the easiest of jobs, marcus had scares big and small to prove that. however, there was something about them that absolutely amazed him. this one in particular had been injured by another creature and they were trying to help the poor thing.. but obviously things went a little sideways. “look if you really want to see her just wait a bit, she’s a bit temperamental at the moment but should calm down soon.”

Luna had never been scared of magical creatures and she would certainly not stop now, despite the man’s protests. With stars in her eyes and a melody in her voice, she explained, “They’re quite beautiful creatures, don’t you think? Their population is quite small now, after the International Confederation of Wizards exterminated most of them.” Sadness etched her face now at the very thought, “She must be quite lonely.” As always, Luna excited in hr own world and she stared at the creature, light blue jumper keeping her warm on this unusually cold day. She turned to him once more, “Their fangs are quite poisonous you know. There’s been talk about defanging them but I fear more will die from the process than live.” Taking a step back, the blonde haired girl smiled, “I think she just needs a friend,” she said, looking at the dangerous creature.

A GIRL OF SUNBEAMS AND STARDUST.

hi everyone!! finally got access to my computer so here’s a little rundown on my girl luna lovegood and some connections i want for her and other wonderful things! first things first, i’m ree and totally love harry potter and am so excited for one of my favourite fanfiction tropes (marriage law) come out in rp. without further ado, here’s my girl luna!
