people were outraged. understandably so. they had just fought in a war to be seen as something more than their blood status and now it seemed that blood was put back on their radar again. personally, catriona thought that it was cruel mockery--for muggleborns and halfbloods to be paired with those that used to ridicule them. but, as it were, her personal feelings couldn’t come in the way of her job--not if she wanted to be SUCCESSFUL. thus, she had plastered a smile on her face all day as she politely instructed people to leave their concerns for the minister’s careful review. though she personally doubted that he would consider a one of them. after what seemed like endless hours, catriona was finally dragging herself into the leaky cauldron. it was much to her relief to find that the pub was mostly emptied. “ merlin--what a day, “ she muttered to herself as she sank down into a seat at the bar.
