Seriously the first time I saw the pink hair I was so absolutely shook.
He wears slippers all the time which is that # relatable content.
I am a slut for fire powers. Do not judge me.
He has a horrible fashion sense like mine and so I felt a connection.
He’s a bit of an asshole? ????
Like he can be pretty blunt when he doesn’t care about the problem and fairly apathic.
The hair.
God that hair is a pain to draw but I love it.
He cares so much for his friends and family! Puts himself on the front lines before anything else for them!
Sharp teeth and glowy eyes!

You guys seriously have no idea how many times I’ve watched over the dragon force scene.
Very blunt and straightforward, yet somehow?? Emotionally constipated and great at keeping secrets????
Berserk mode
His creativity in a fight. I know later down in the series it wasn’t obvious but from the beginning up until about Tenrou he always pulled something unique and fun in his fights.
Looks like he would give great hugs.
Honestly the demon thing in the end was just a bonus
The fact that he can eat fire was the wildest thing to 14 year old me
He makes some of the best facial expressions
