With him living the past few years in Paris, Isaac Lahey felt oddly out of place when he returned to Beacon Hills after being gone for so long. He had gotten word through Scott, that the infamous Derek Hale was hosting a party and Isaac just had to be there.
So he booked the next flight to Beacon Hills; his childhood hometown. Nervousness flooded through his veins as he stepped foot into Derek's loft just as the party life had begun to come about— Scott, Stiles, Lydia. . The gang was all here and very much excited to see him.
Isaac grabbed a beer from one of the trays, placing the cold liquid to his lips, he took a swig and observed the scenes going on around him. People, who he assumed to be friends of the eldest Hale were dancing along with the music, grinding on one another and having a good time.
Isaac took another sip of his beer, and smiled when Derek came over towards him. "Glad you could make it, bud." Derek gently patted Isaac's back, and Isaac smiled. "It's definitely weird to be home, but it feels good." Derek laughed with a nod. "I can only imagine."
Derek bid him farewell as he had other hosting duties to attend too, and that's when Isaac's gaze fell onto her. Cora Hale— the woman who happened to be Isaac's secret flame back in Paris, and the only woman he's ever truly loved.
He propped himself off the wall with his foot, and he smiled softly when he walked over towards Cora— and the minute her eyes landed on him, the world seemed to have come to a halt, and it was like it was only just the two of them on Earth.
"Hey.." Isaac smiled softly, as he shoved his way between the person who was standing next to him and Cora. Isaac felt like he was back in high school, having a school boy crush, with all of the excitement he was feeling.
