Here at the end of the Sixth Age, it is said that there lives an enchanter of unmatched power— a Conjurer of Condiments, a Sorcerer of Sausage, an Oscar Mayer Omniscient— in a small hut off the beaten path in the Forest of Franks. He is Merlinus, The One Who Knows How the Sausage Is Made, the last remaining Hot Dog Wizard. (autographs $10)
it’s got a taste now, it’ll be back
did you know that it’s actually spelled “sherbet” and not “sherbert” because I did not

one thing I love about pixel art--specifically, abiding by the limitations of certain games or systems--is how it forces you to think about even small changes
just a few little splotches of color can significantly alter the audience’s perception of just what they’re looking at, and if it can be recognized at all
anyway here’s mr. hornhelm showing that he does, in fact, have limbs
you ever just pixel a bunch of frozen treats or is that just me
So a long time ago I made a sprite for a boss battle idea I had-- a fountain that would control its water for different forms to attack. Recently I was reminded of it, so I thought it would be fun to touch it up a bit!
Finally done sort of! Here’s a mockup of a town I made just for fun. It’s meant to be sort of the first town in an action-adventure game, with surrounding landscape!
I had a lot of fun putting this together, even though it took so long. Lots of little details to pick out!
The most famed prosecutor in all of Ryme City, Morgan, along with her trusty Quagsire! There’s no case too tough for them!
Here’s a little fanart of a friend’s rymesona done up in GSC style!! (You should also go follow her cause she’s really great!)
here’s a little preview of that thing I’ve been working on for... literally weeks now
what’s that? it’s a little hard to see the details?
well ain’t that a darn shame!
@transpopuko‘s Merlot, Sala, and Opheliette (from left to right)! This was the first time I tried to pixel someone else’s characters, and I think they turned out really well!!
here’s a part of a big thing I’m putting together-- a fountain! this took hours and a lot of experimentation
on the left is my first attempt with just two frames. by adding just one more frame to the one on the right (and bumping up the speed a fair bit) I was able to make the water seem to pour down much smoother. just goes to show the difference one frame can make, huh?
here’s a slight update to a scene I posted not long ago
I haven’t done pixel art like this is a long time, so it was nice to get back into it
I’ll make a game one of these days
y’know what’s fun?
designing some pixel girls in your spare time that’s what
