General PSA.

I do not have DID, this is a core part of Marc's character and I will attempt to portray it gracefully and with as much care as I can muster. That being said, if I get anything wrong I apologize! Every time I have Marc talk about this part of him I'll do my research and base his dialogue on his actual characterization. ( Specifically the Lemire & MacKay runs whilst completely ignoring the Bendis run. )

Furthermore, Marc is also Jewish, and I myself am not. This is another core part of his character, while it's more so cultural than actual religious for him. He's ethnically Jewish, his father was a Rabbi, he celebrates traditional Jewish customs, but he's not actively someone who worships or believes in the Jewish god. This being said, I also will tackle this part with as much care as I can! It's a real important part of his character.

Above all else though, Zionists will be blocked. Free Palestine. Judaism is not the same as Zionism. It's important to understand and know the difference. I will also block if I see any antisemitism as well. I just felt like this was a necessary PSA to have when writing a Jewish character in the current world we live in.

First and foremost, the mun is named DJ, I use they/them pronouns and I’m 30 years old. I have been roleplaying on this website for over a decade now and I have seen pretty much every drama known to man on here. I will NOT be getting involved in whatever drama is unfolding in the RPC these days. I’m here to write my muse and enjoy myself. Because of this you will never see me reblog a call out. I don’t want to see them, though I will block if the person in question is truly dreadful / a predator, but I will not involve myself. In turn, I will also unfollow if you continuously spread call outs, I personally am not here to get involved in petty drama.

I have written Marc twice before, once on a multimuse and once on a solo blog that was an off shoot of that multi. Both blogs no longer exist, but Marc is my second favorite superhero after Jean Grey of the X-Men. I adore him and I love writing him. Giving him another shot like this just sounds like a good time.

MCU + FACECLAIM.

I will not write the MCU version of Marc. I adore Oscar Isaac, but that portrayal of Marc, Steven and Jake was not good and at times outright offensive. I will happily write with MCU specific muses, but don't assume anything in the show happened with my portrayal which is strictly 616. ( Visuals were great though! I happened to love the costume, Khonshu's overall look, and Layla as a character. )

I will be using Oliver Jackson-Cohen as my faceclaim as I used him originally. This is not an original fancasting as I'm well aware multiple Marc writers have used him over the years and guess what! They don't have a monopoly on using him! Oliver is perfect, he's Jewish and Egyptian, and above else he auditioned for the role of Marc and was passed over. We were truly robbed.

OTHER NOTES.

When it comes to formatting I have grown past the need for fancy formatting, small text with a few bold and italic words here and there and maybe an icon, but that's it. You can format all you want, but I won't go all out and make anything crazily fancy.

As I am very much over the age of eighteen, I will not be following blogs that are written by anyone below the age of 21. It’s just a personal preference and I apologize in advance for it. That being said, this blog may be NS//FW at times whether it be more adult themes or plain smut.

I love shipping, I like writing romance, plotting is usually required for longstanding ships, but feel free to send in shippy prompts to test the waters. Usually chemistry with our writing is required though, so please don't assume!

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not the best at plotting. I have ideas here and there, but I’m actually way more better at continuing prompts or winging it. Please keep this in mind when you ask to plot.

It's not very often that Marc felt at peace, sleeping restfully hasn't been in the cards since he was a kid and yet with Bucky's warm body beside him there's a sense of calm. A sense of safety. He enjoyed closing his eyes and hearing the sound of the other man's heartbeat, he enjoys the way their bodies entangle with one another beneath the blankets. He counts his breaths, listens to the soft noises and for once feels like a regular relaxed man.

He feels Bucky's gentleness when he feels his lips and Marc finds himself smiling, a genuine one that brightens his features and he wastes no time in rolling closer, gently nudging Bucky on his side while his arms wrap around him, pulling his bare back flush against his chest whilst he buries his face in the crook of Bucky's neck.

He craves the warmth, and the surge of affection that overtakes him prompts a melody of kisses to be pressed to Bucky's neck, and cheek. They were like a couple in a romantic film and yet Marc couldn't find himself to care that neither of them led romantic lives. They were allowed a few moments of solace, a few private minutes to act like any other duo enamored with one another.

"I like laying in bed with you, Buck." He admits, voice raspy from sleep, strong fingers rub across the bare skin of Bucky's stomach. Lips trail along Bucky's shoulder, kissing where flesh met metal, taking special care to show love for every part of this man's body. Reigning himself back, he returns to Bucky's neck, another kiss and he settles in close, mindful of his more awake body parts. Sex with Bucky was incredible, he was very fond of fucking him, but this moment was sweet. He didn't want it to end, didn't want Bucky to think that all he cared about was when he had the soldier on his back.

"Cozy?" He asks in that still raspy voice. "I run hot, I apologize for that. I think it's all the hair." He jokes, affectionately bumping his cheek with his nose as he presses a small kiss to the shell of Bucky's ear. "I promise cuddling with me is more comfortable in winter."
