Jehan had just finished class, and was headed out of the school building when he noticed Eponine. “Hey, Ep!” He called, walking over to her, books in hand. He hadn’t seen his friend in a while, nor held a decent conversation with her. “Hey, what’s up Eponine?”
"Just the usual crazy." She said with a light shrug and a tricky smile."and you?"

[Text] I mean, I don’t ‘know’, but I’m pretty sure. They were at the exact place I got bitten and I’m pretty sure that was their smell.
[Text] I have no idea who it is. They were wearing a really baggy hoodie, like they were trying to hide. I couldn’t even tell their relative age or gender.

[Text] No. I didn’t even talk to them, but I saw them and I’m pretty sure it’s the right one.
[Text] They must have been pretty distracted, because I followed them home and I’m pretty sure they didn’t notice.

[Text— Eponine] I think I found out who bit me.

"Okay."
After engaging his senses for a few moments, he had a good idea of where to look.
"I think we should go that way," He said, gesturing North.
"I'll lead." She began walking purposefully in the the indicated direction.
"You wanna take the risk and track ‘em?"
"I mean… I want to talk to this person, so I might as well do it now rather than later. Anyway, it’s daylight, at least, they probably won’t try to kill us in the middle of the day, right…?" Great logic, but whatever.
"If you really want to, then we can."
Though he felt a little silly doing so, he started sniffing too— he hadn’t really paid attention to the nose thing, since the hearing was driving him so crazy, but he was smelling things he wasn’t used to being able to smell— the leaves, and the dirt, and the trees, and the stream, all so separate, and then another smell—
"They’ve been here recently or they’re nearby."
