Thank you a lot~ I sent some to my sister and she loves them ^^ especially the Shinee gif lol
I kinda had a headcanon about Talia and it was that she straighten her hair to realllllyyyyy look like her sister (mix of feelings of inferiority + to better replace her) but then I remmber flashback with baby Talia and her hair is naturaly straight like Izira :/
Why was Phoenix outside and why did Apollo KNOW who he was??
Its the fact that they live on the first floor, so he had to climb onto the balcony XD XD XD
Its a small AU I have going on. It follow the canon closely, the only difference really is that Solomon took the boys in and became their legal gardian (before UR 1 happen).
Normally Apollo doesn't know Phoenix personally, they haven't met, Im just having funz =p
I guess in this version, everybody knows about the fact that Apollo and Trucy are siblings and Nick knows about Apollo's dream of becoming a lawyer, so he just randomly show up and bother him lol
The Space Center became a cosmic themed principality with an enchanted castle (full of nerds =P )
Cosmopolitan au
Man, going back to drawing after a long time is hard.... my hand hurt and my drawing isn't drawining :,/ lil sketch to get me back into it ^^Y yayyy =D
I had a vision. So you see that Robert Wun Wine dress? Imagine a AA case and a stained dress is part of the mystery.
Lets choose Athena as protagonist (she needs the spotlight and I need her in the spotlight). The body was found, oddly drained of an alarming amount of it's blood, it's not the cause of death but also no one know where the hell is the rest of it. While she investigate the murder, she freak out when she found *that* dress, until the designer (who is probably the defendent and not on the scene) says it's one of his creation and no, it's not blood, it's dye and beeds, blah blah blah....
But at some point, too many people complain about that stinky dress and it IS actually blood.
It's added as an evidence and put Athena in a bad position. And then, during court time, the designer is like "hummmmm????!? That is NOT my dress??ew" And so yeah the real dress as been stolen and a swap happen.
She is usually portrated as the youngest, but sometimes is the same age as the other girls. I like diversity, so I made her a ~13/14 years old teen, while Strawberry and most of the cast are young adults. Apple look like she is from a children book~ I did get inspired by old dolls face (chubby and rosy cheeks). You can't really see it, but she have Apollo Justice's eyebrows. Apple Juice's eyebrows lol
Her hair reminds me of flocks of apples not picked yet, still hanging on their branches. The feathers are supposed to be slices of apples (the one looking like bunnies :3 ). Apple dumplins can have differents shape, it's usually square-ish or semi-circle. And many simple motifs, drawn on them, that I use for the clothes pattern.
She does have some flowers embroidered, but for the physical details (earrings, hat accessoires...) I choose pink flower buds, they look like pink pearls ^^ very cute ! Something a cute girl would choose or be gifted. It changes from Strawberry's white flowers too !
She is a blooming girl~
I imagine the story being : adventurous Strawberry wanting to change air and move to Berry City, and a more timid Apple still living with their parents, visiting for vacations. Outgoing and Indoor summer sis !
I kinda forgot they are sisters, so I guess either genetics works weird or they are adopted. Anyway, that detail doesn't change much about their relationship*~
I'm not totaly sold on the colors on the Sailor fit tbh, but I like it still. Maybe I should make it a darker colour and the motif lighter? I didn't wanted to go fully red, because it would have been too easy. Playing around green was more interesting, and yellow is too easely forgotten (by me at least X/ guiltyyyy)
(But yeah, I think of revising the entire colour palette!)(someday)(lol)
Wait right there, because Here Comes Justice! is finally out! We truly cannot thank everyone enough for their support.

A while ago, I made a rant about how Phoenix felt OOC in Dual Destinies, although at the time of that post I was only in the second case, I not only still agree with it, but I think the situation worsened in Spirit of Justice (HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA *dies*)
I'll touch on this subject at the end of the post. Because I also want to talk about Apollo now
First of all, I'd like to address the obvious: Apollo deserved to have his name in this game's title. Not Phoenix. It's literally his trilogy, Phoenix doesn't get ANY development as the main character. Why not just⦠not make him playable and have him only be this game's Mia? And like, have him only be playable on the last case and on the first case ever since he got his badge back (I honestly hate how Turnabout Reclaimed turned out a comedy case. Really, Phoenix's return deserved to be something more serious. But I didn't even play that case simply to get rid of Dual Destinies quickly, so I have no right to comment.)
Second⦠he's so boring during this whole game. Maybe I'm being picky but I feel like he lost his personality. He's⦠he's emo now and during cases you play as him it doesn't feel like past game's Apollo. I guess...
Well, now for what I would have done if I would rewrite it:
Dual Destinies really lost the opportunity to explore further of how complicated Phoenix's and Apollo's relationship was after Phoenix (Speaking superficially) using him for an year
Some people have suggested that Phoenix's more cheerful personality might be a persona, so he could be a better boss for Athena
Imagine Apollo, always remembering the past year, watching the new girl get along to Phoenix the way he wanted to. Feeling envious, but trying to suppress it. It was precisely envy that caused his mentor to start doing the horrible things he did.
But he understands that it's not her fault; she didn't know and isn't obligated to know what he went through. How Mr. Wright was. Over time they grow closer, and just when he feels comfortable enough with her⦠Clay dies.
And after he vents about how powerless he feels over his death, Athena and Phoenix have some kind of sweet moment together and he⦠can't take it anymore. The suspicions make him feel betrayed by Athena. He remembers the feeling of discovering that Kristoph, his mentor is a murderer. And then he asks for a leave. With no explanation of why. Phoenix never explained anything to him all last year, why does he owe him an explanation now?
On a related note, I hate the lack of appearances from both Clay and Kristoph in this game. Doesn't his mentor haunt him? The idea of being like him? How betrayed he felt?
Couldn't this game be in a fucking chronological order, having the first case be Clay's trial of something that isn't a murder? (The ONLY case on the first trilogy that starts with a crime that isn't murder for once ends with a death that nobody cares about, WOW.) Like, I don't know, something like data theft on the space station or something like that? Shitty example but whatever. And then Clay spends some good time hanging with Apollo so his death actually hurts like Mia's
Welp Athena, Simon and the two last cases carried this game. Apollo deserved more.
Finally, here's a little more about Phoenix!
On a less important note, on my last post I commented on how weird The Magical Turnabout is, and honestly just made Phoenix feel more mischaracterized. Like yeah Capcom of course I'll buy your idea that Phoenix would not be present at his daughter's first magic show and instead would abandon her to go to another country to see a girl he's not even able to meet for the next two weeks. After he bought her a lot of expensive Gavinners merch while they were still in a difficult financial condition. After everything he went through with Maya.
ALSO did Maya's kidnapping not affect him like, AT ALL? This is a complaint I have about Trials and Tribulations, honestly! After everything they went through, he really let Armstrong, a man they didn't know, just take her away somewhere? He had so little resistance to her being alone in the temple? Oh, and about the temple, guess what happened! She almost died! And after that?
HE LET HIS DAUGHTER RUN SOMEWHERE WITHOUT HIM, WHERE THERE'S A MURDERER AROUND, TO STAY WITH APOLLO, WHO'S NOT REALLY TRUSTWORTHY ON THAT MOMENT LIKE, AT ALL! AND GUESS WHAT??? SHE WAS KIDNAPPED. AND HE BARELY REMEMBERED HER WHENEVER THE HOSTAGES WERE MENTIONED.
Phoenix should have been playable only for the retrial of Blackquill and ONLY the trial part.
The investigation part should have been left to Apollo who make the same discovery as Phoenix (and he was probably closed off the whole time, so we can finally have his thoughts on the case, plus drop some the lore. On him and Athena). Its the only part where it feels justified. Athena as been arrested and Apollo let him do it to see where it goes. He doesn't trust Nick as a person but still trust him enough as an attorney. Also with the whole theme of the Dark age of Law (him losing his badge, Blackquill in jail, corruption etc). It make sense for Phoenix to be playable then thematically. And it could be actually earned fan service. Like when we play Edgeworth as a defense attorney.
But all the other time? Nah, leave some space for the other! Its unnecessary and they doesn't even use it to build his character, yknow, after he become an attorney again and his seven years of schemming, being a broke single dad, etc.
He should be a mentor only, trying to pick up where he left, but with two addition to his office, trying to be a good one for Athena, and trying not to be too awkward with Apollo, aknowledge that he kinda did mess up a lil bit and thinking about repairing the relationship.
The line when he ask himself if he and Apollo could ever be mentor/student came wayyyyy too late in the game cmon. I love how he doesn't even ask himself if Apollo wants that after Kristoph. A bit self-centered but in a character is complex and evolving way. He probably thought that whatever he was doing, he wasn't too bad at it and then boom, Cosmic Turnabout lol
Like could you imagine him talking about it to Starbuck and he break it to him "hum... Apollo... I mean, he still look up to you, as a lawyer and stuff, but I never heard him complain that much about someone before! And he's a complainer alright ! He did it so much, some people straight up don't like you much here..." And Nick go "oh! Ooooh...(that explain the cold welcome I got)" XD (I need to write a fanfic (sort off) or just a rewrite)
(but Im always happy to see that Starbuck was canon a good mentor to Clay teehee ^^ and that he is the one making Nick question himself. also Clay lives))
Just saying, but we could have had a Klavier Gavin Investigations game where he go throught all of Kristoph's cases to try and determine which of his clients were actually guilty and free the wrongfully imprisoned.
Through each cases, we have flashback of his younger self (kid, teen, 17 years old prosecutor...) with his brother, and he ask himself "where did it go wrong? Was he ever sincere with me? Did I ever had a brother to begin with, or did he changed at some point? Was [this] a lie or the truth?" I especially like the "I was worthy" line in the last case, when talking about his first case (I am unsure, did he and Kristoph actually share a case ever? Did he ever had to face Kristoph in court? If the answer is no, that's very interesting, it had to it. Maybe Kristoph always wanted to avoid this kind of situation. If it's yes, then it's about how Klavier was fooled by a person he trusted a whole lot, and how it happen multiple time. Plus, that mean he participate in trials where the innocent were given a guilty verdict.)
One case could be Gavinners centered, with Daryan as a "guest"(take that however you want) and their relationship as bandmate and colleague, and where he meet Lamiroir. An investigation abroad.
One with Phoenix could be nice as well. They could have an honest talk.
