I thought this day couldn't be weirder until I saw this poll (there's a minor rant incoming)

As a kid, I was keen on the Darkwing duck series so I'm familiar with Bushroot. Actually, he even was one of my favorite villains along with other guys from the Fearsome Five. I get it if you vote for him when you're not familiar with Alastor at all or simply like him more or whatever valid reason you have. What I TOTALLY don't get is when you vote for Bushroot because you "vote against Hazbin Hotel/Alastor (particularly)".

I just wanna ask Hazbin Hotel haters if they even know what's the point of the poll is. If you dgaf about the character at all then why even vote for them simply to piss off the fandom you hate? Can't you just skip the poll then? Or is it too hard for you because you immediately get oh so riled up whenever hellaverse is mentioned and you desperately want EVERYONE to know how much you hate it? Just so you know, if you don't REALLY define Bushroot as a tumblr sexyman and still vote for him (and I'm pretty sure A LOT of you did so since the vote gap is quite small while DD is obviously not the mainstream rn), the poll lost its fucking point because of you. Yeahhhh fair.

Yes, Hazbin hotel is flawed and maybe "cringe" to some point. Just like all the other shows in their own ways though. You're not forced to like it, just stop bullying people who do because boy it's so fucking easy and would bring at least some peace to the fandom space.

But it has a female creator who dares to not shy away from expanding on sexual topics so yeahhhh.
