A tumblr for Lehigh University's Swing Dancing Club. Come check us out on Tuesdays in Zoellner 121 from 5-6pm for our weekly lessons. We host a social dance with a live band every semester, and we spend lots of time hanging out as a club and traveling off campus to dance!

I first checked out swing club because I thought dancing was a lot of fun, and while I had no confidence in my own dancing, I had friends who were going, so I tagged along. I have since made a bunch of friends, learned a lot about dancing and had a great time. Even though I have plenty of moments where I feel like I'm an awkward guy with 2 left feet (though those moments grow fewer), I continue to have a great time stumbling along.

I want anyone who joins Swing or thinks about joining swing or says they will never join swing to know that all of the things I also thought I'd never say, I now say with much pride and excitement. I want all future "Swing babies," as I have affectionately been called this year, to have the same kind of experience that I have had- one that is full of love, fun, excessive sarcasm, and more cardio than I thought I'd ever do (shoutout to the Cali routine!)
