what does lexie think of sakura?

ꨄ︎ the first thing i got was an image of lexie going behind the group's back and talking to the company one-on-one as to why they chose sakura. and it's not like she was being shady or anything, is she the leader or something? idk but when the girls found out that sakura was the final member, she felt unsure. unsure if sakura would fit in with the group, and she was unsure if sakura was the best option. it does seem like lexie is really locked in and she wants the group to be extremely successful. she has a lot of aspirations and ambition, lexie wants them to be the it group, which is why i think she was extremely picky about who should be the final member. i think once the company explained to her why sakura was the final member, she kinda understood the vision, but not 100%. but i think she was like, "welp it's not like we can do anything about it. now let's try to make the best of the situation." i do think she thinks sakura has the potential, but she doesn't think she's there yet. tbh, i don't think their personalities will really mesh. i think they can be good coworkers, but as of now, i don't know how deep their bond will be. she views sakura as someone who is confident (maybe even a bit cocky) and very outspoken. i think lexie was surprised as to how outspoken sakura is, maybe she thought she would be more introverted. i'm getting that message again that lexie really cares about the image of the group and ah i just think she views sakura as the odd one out. she's feeling very conflicted about her like some days she's like "okay i kinda get it" and then other days she's like "i don't get this." she may even feel like sakura disrupted the group's dynamic in a bad way and that she could cause disharmony with the group. i do want to clarify that i don't think lexie is malicious towards her, but she's struggling to accept her as a group member. i'm also getting an image that she's worried about sakura's mouth and the things she says. like she thinks sakura could cause them some issues and controversies in the future. she does like that sakura also has ambition and drive and she likes that sakura wants to continue improving. she also likes the sakura is adaptable and is down for whatever. i do think there have been some conflicts and arguments. like i see her continuing to talk to the company about sakura. and yeah i don't think she's super duper happy about them choosing her, but she's trying to remain positive. choosing sakura could have also changed their group's direction and aesthetic, which is also something she needs to compromise and accept. this is all i'm getting now for lexie.

what does samara think of sakura?

ꨄ︎ samara thinks sakura isn't old and mature enough for the concepts that they were promised. she thinks sakura is immature and just not on the level of the other members. similar to lexie, she also thinks sakura disrputed the group's harmony, and tbh, they're (lexie and samara) struggling with their dynamic with sakura. she's having trouble connecting to sakura on a deep, personal level, and a part of samara doesn't 100% trust sakura. and it's not like she's done anything, but samara just has this intuitive feeling that she shouldn't trust her completely, and she's trusting her intuition. she may even think there were shady things going on behind the scenes that made the company choose sakura. and i feel like samara is projecting this onto sakura which is why i think she's having trouble connecting with her. i do think she thinks she has potential, but she feels like it's going to take time. more than anything, she currently views sakura as a burden and like she's dragging the team down. idk they're just not clicking right now like idek how much these two talk. i feel like their connection right now is very superficial, and there's just nothing here. i also don't think she's 100% okay and happy that sakura was chosen. she may have even wished it was just them three as she thought they started connecting well. samara thinks sakura would've fit better if she were older, but yeah. i just think there are so many factors that are making samara not connect with her (being too young, having too different personalities etc.) she feels like the group isn't balanced, and yeah she's trying to understand the vision but she just doesn't. this is all i'm getting for now and i guess we will see how their dynamic changes in time.

what does emily think of sakura?

ꨄ︎ i think emily is kind of the mediator of the group? like i can hear her tell lexie and samara, "c'mon you guys, let's just try to remain positive." i do think she's the most open with this decision, but she does find that it will be challenging. she may view sakura as a wild child, like a crazy younger sister she has to take care of. she feels like she got the unofficial role of taking care of sakura because she knows the other girls don't want that job. i see her genuinely trying to get to know sakura and help sakura's guard go down. emily may have initiated hangouts and coffee dates to get to know her and make her feel welcomed. i do think emily thinks sakura is immature and again a bit of a wild child. emily is the type to go with the flow, so she's trying to overcome this phase with the group, and she's hoping that they can get out of this funk and connect better in the future. to be honest, it doesn't seem like emily is as close to lexie and samara. like in my minds eye, i see lexie and samara being close, being a pair, and then i see emily a bit farther from them. because of this, i think this is why she's trying to get close to sakura. emily is also very logical and strategic. she's pretty smart, and she knows what the public is saying about them. she's starting to feel protective over sakura and doesn't like what is being said about her. she feels bad as she knows how it feels to receive hate. i do think she's trying to guide sakura throughout this whole process, and i do see the potential of them getting closer with time. idk i just see her helping sakura a lot right now and trying to help her connect with the other members. i would say out of all the girls, emily is the one who is less upset about this whole thing. she's an optimist and has faith that it will all work out. this is all i'm getting for now!

The hate sakura gets is crazy.

Hating on her, commenting on every video saint satine makes with sakura about Ayana won’t bring Ayana back or debut her, y’all HAVE to accept sakura gotten picked. No pointing out the obvious about sakura isn’t bullying but the sometimes other people criticism turns into hate and still call it “criticism”. Like yes she is young but sakura herself said she doesn’t have any experience in dancing or singing, Son Sung-deuk says he sees the potential sakura has in the future, which I agree, sakura may not be GREAT, but she isn’t BAD either.

Everyone online try to say how much sakura doesn’t deserve to be in saint satine, they think she’s going to bring down the other girls because of her age or they would have to age down their concepts. It makes sense on why sakura is picked. Mind you they’re looking for the final piece to fit the puzzle and the other three girls already have their identity.

Emily on the left is a dancer, Lexie in the middle is the visual, while Samara on the right is the vocalist. Each girl has similar attributes to each other as all three of them have long hair and look very feminine. Now use a K-pop formula and what they would need is a tomboy rapper which sakura already has short hair which makes her stand out from the other three. Now for a disclaimer I’m not saying Ayana isn’t talented or pretty but if the judges would’ve picked Ayana who is on the left to debut in the group then the creative theme needs to be rebranded and reassemble the other girls identities because her skill set and looks is similar to Samara and Lexie. Overall if she would’ve debuted in the group then ONE of the girls need to rebrand themselves to balance the theme out.

This reminded me of the choreographer telling Ayana to watch the other girls and see what she could add because she wasn't adding anything, just blending in with what was already there or overlap them, but Sakura is young and moldable already adds to the group whatever is missing and has so much potential which leaves more room to grow compared to Ayana since she’s already good at dancing and singing and so much more. The position sakura is in, It happened with BLACKPINK, Lisa started as the rapper, then became more versatile as a solo artist. I think Sakura will be shaped in the same way since she has so much potential.

This is why I think sakura belongs into the group and IK they’re not a K-pop group but a global group but they’re under a K-pop company which is Hybe. I predicted that Sakura sometime will go on a hiatus sometime because maybe of the hate getting too much which you know it’s bad because even Lexie was telling them to show sakura some love. But yeah she will go on a hiatus for a while and get better in her skills then come back way better which everyone will start to switch up and start liking her like nothing happened, this is very common in groups. I think sakura do have a while to go in growth and skill but so do the other girls and not just sakura, I’ll give them 1-3 years to adjust to each other and the group overall and will be better. I think this is the perfect time for them to debate since katseye is getting dragged through the mud rn.
