Makes me think of a line said by Apprentice Xehanort from Melody Of Memory
Quadratum was originally a world/reality/unreality devoid of light & darkness
But with this new info, Quadratum now has manifestations of darkness, due to the arrival of inhabitants from the realm of light (Sora, Strelitzia, Luxord, Sigurd, Vali, Master Of Masters, & possibly Ava??) & those concepts they came with.
I just find all of this pretty interesting. Along with knowledge we learned from the first trailer…
If Sora or anyone else where to leave Quadratum for another, they should not expect to return to the one from which them came from.
