ivy smiled at the other. “and just like you are one of mine” she said smiling some more. “seriously stell, these are so good. i would happily take the whole tray to myself” ivy said chuckling as she watched the other place her phone down. “you’re so welcome. and i brought an indian curry and apple crumble cause ana’s here” the girl said smiling. “i did my best. first time making a curry so im hoping it turned out okay” she said looking at the other. “but yes its going really well. having a lot of fun, a little tired from flying back from cali on the red eye last night and prepping for this today but overall im good” she said. “but we can defiently spice it up. lets go get some cocktails” ivy said looking at the other. “how about you? are you enjoying yourself?”
stella’s smile only brightened at ivy’s words, she always knew how to hype her up. “now, you know, i simply must make you some eclairs for christmas. if you don’t have your fill with these tonight,” she chuckled, “and if you want, you’re also welcomed to come by with ana and we can all make eclairs. i’d be happy to show you both how to make them, and i’m sure you guys would probably make them taste ten times better anyway.” the moment her friend mentioned the dishes she brought, stella could hear a grumble coming from her stomach. “that sounds delicious! after a couple of cocktails, i’ll have to go snag some of the curry and apple crumble. i bet both dishes are delicious.” she listened intently as the other told her the updates, smiling more when she hears ivy had just landed from cali not too long ago, “ah, cali. the dream is to go there one day. i have yet to go, isn’t that kinda wild?” seeing as most influencers have either been born there or gone at least once, at least in her circle of friends, she really did think it was shocking she had yet to go. “i’m happy to hear you’re doing good overall,” she linked her arm with ivy’s arm, walking towards the cocktail section, “but i’m even more happy to hear you’re going to join me in some cocktails.” as they walked the short distance to the bar section, stella thinks about ivy’s question, a small silence fills the air between as she tries to figure out how she was doing. “i guess i’m doing alright. i can’t complain too much. and as for enjoying myself, i’d say so! it’s a lovely party so far, even if i had to endure a conversation with chad.” the last part was said in jest, she truly had no hard feelings towards her ex-boyfriend.
