Yes. I agree. I will continue to handle this stuff based on my instincts because what I don’t wanna be is some sort of dictator. At the end of the day, this is a community; I’ve always intended it as such. And so although I have no qualms of blocking every single one of you, it’s not like I want that to happen. If you want to comment on what a specific person said on another social media platform, it should be accompanied either by a screenshot or a link; you don’t get to talk shit about other people without proof. For TikTok in particular, if you want to reference a specific comment, it requires a screenshot.
If you want to comment on discourse more generally, try to ensure there is a point to your complaint. Because there is nothing more useless than « The CCC are complaining about XYZ ». Like, okay? And? I’m not a teacher; I’m not here to discipline other people. Nor do I enjoy complaining just for complaining’s sake. If you simply want to vent, make that clear in your ask.
And listen up, because this is the Golden Rule: I am not interested in hearing any theory, story, hunch, or rumour about a public figure’s relationship. Even if it’s positive. I’m not here to trade fanfic with y’all; AO3 is a separate website. Rather, if you want to make a claim, make sure it comes with CREDIBLE evidence. If you don’t know what credible evidence is, that’s a personal issue, but know that I am more than capable of filtering bullshit.
