The young jackhog appeared near the console after some time, her gaze being focused on it. Despite having some dust on parts of her fur and a few small cuts that were bandaged, those being mostly on her paws, she was holding what seemed to be a small robot bird behind herself. “Ririii here?” She spoke shortly, asking that to check. Cynthia most likely had a smile on her face, and her tail was wagging kind of fast, as she was excited to both see her friend and give him a gift.
The console was dark, but quickly flashed to the scenery of Green Hill, X-Terion showing up where Sonic usually would.
Glancing at the screen, his eyes curled up, and he ran off the side of the screen, only to pop back up, covering the vibrant scenery.
“ Heya little gal! Long time no see, hm? How’re you doin? “
The toddler’s ears perked up, keeping herself silent for now as she waited patiently, perhaps even trying to figure out how things work in her friend’s world by watching. “Hii- mhm!” She returned the greeting and answered the first question, nodding as well. “Sowwy for no much visits, mama got..” She paused briefly, trying to find the correct word, or at least one she thinks it could be. “..worried buh- got you something! Can guess if wan!” She finished it like that, leaving the guess of the gift up to X-Terion if he wants. Her wording might as well have improved, or just a bit for now. “I’m oki, very happy to see friend again! Wuh about yu? Is it possible to see home better? Like..uhm..be in there with yu and see- I unno-“ She finally answered the last question, returning the same question along with one of her own.

What seemed to be a jackhog appeared somewhere randomly, just close enough to be able to spot the console any time soon. Cynthia seemed to be more calm, perhaps a bit sleepy, but better after some time. She yawned and stretched, and soon enough, she spotted the console, which that made both her ears perk up and her eyes to emit small sparkles- that being followed by her tail wagging quickly for a moment. Cynthia looked around, analyzing her surroundings before she sneaked closer to the console. And once she got close enough to it, she knelt down, only to take a better view of said item and analyze it first.
The scenery of green hill was visible, but there was no Sonic.
At least, no Sonic that was easy to spot. It was like a video game version of “Where’s Waldo”.
X-terion had been hidden behind one of the tress, from all you could barely see of him, it was clear he was sat down staring at the sky.
He was oblivious of Cynthia’s presence watching the console, for now, at least..
“Awa-“ Cynthia seemed to be doing a few soft clicks kind of sound, curious about the device. Part of her wanted to just..’borrow’ the console and see how it was made, even try to rebuild it herself- but that was soon changed when she payed attention to the screen. The small jackhog stared at the screen, her right ear folding to the side. After a long time of staring, she could manage to spot where the hedgehog is hiding, placing a paw on the screen where the trees would be. “Tree! Tree!” She spoke shortly yet cheerfully.
X-terion jumped the second he heard Cynthia’s voice, turning quickly to face the screen.
He stood up, walking out from behind the tree and looking up at the screen, looking at the child with wide eyes.
“ Oh! Hello, little one! “
He waved, walking out of view of the screen and coming back up, covering green hill’s backround.
The small jackhog clapped her hands, giggling for a moment and smiling with her eyes closed upon getting this correctly, as if being proud of herself about it. “Hii!” Cynthia greeted back enthusiastically, soon moving around as if trying to see where the hedgehog is before stopping when he reappeared, her tail most likely swaying slowly now as she stared at him. Though, her forehead’s eye remained closed. “Wuh you? Metal box home?” Her words were probably limited, and what she’s trying to ask first is ‘Who are you?’.
X-terion chuckled quietly, tapping the screen from the inside.
Seeing a child like Cynthia brought back so much nostalgia it almost hurt..
Marilyn….
“ Yup! This is my home, little one. I’m X-terion! Now where are your parents, hm? “
Her gaze widened in surprise, letting out a few chittering sounds. ‘Borrowing’ what’s his home shouldn’t be bad..Right? Her parents could explain her things and maybe..show her new friend places?? She wouldn’t know, nor she wanted to leave her friend alone. She did a quick nod, understanding and smiling a bit. “Riri, Cynthia!” She didn’t hesitate to call him straight by an easy nickname before she said her own name, pointing at herself when saying that. Though when she came to the question, she took a moment of silence before she shook her head, unsure about that. “I unno.. Papa might be working, and mama..eep? Can’t fins other mama and papa inze mama found me..” It seems like she considers those two green raccoons as that too, although she gave them their own nicknames. She then placed her paws on the console, perhaps..trying to figure out how she can pick it up? “Wann fren meet papa and mama, thi! Noh know green of home bwuh, no wann fren lonely-“

What seemed to be a toddler appeared somewhere in this world’s Green Hills, seemingly via warping. The little one stretched and yawned for a moment, unaware of where she is but as soon as she realized that nobody she knew was near her, she started to feel kind of..anxious, perhaps? Even worried and confused, more when she was able to see the change of scenery.
EXE had been wandering.
Why? Don’t know. Maybe he was just looking for a leftover mobian limb he had somewhere.
Either way, he was wandering.
And that wandering led him to find her.
Once he registered she was there, he grinned. Devilishly, flicking invisible as he approached.
Once close enough, he reappeared, putting a fake concerned look as he knelt down to her.
“ Aaaawee.. what’s wrong, little one~? “
The toddler’s ears lowered, staying close to her head as she is now looking at the ground, sniffing a few times. Tears managed to form in the corner of her eyes and her eyes seemed to be shiny, about to tear up. Though as soon as she heard the unfamiliar voice, she couldn’t help but do a small jump, startled as this took her off guard. And soon after that, Cynthia pouted and wiped her tears quickly, perhaps doing so to not cry in front of someone- or something like that. “Papa and mama not here..Itty and Bassy too..” The little one managed to answer after a small moment of silence, just enough for her voice to not break when speaking. She was..most likely gazing at Exe after she spoke, still pouting, but at least all seemed to be good- or most likely a bit better- now that there’s someone there.
