Look Lydia is probably in love throughout the entire concert because she’s dating a cool rockstart and it’s literally her dream and plus he’s adorable and funny and doesn’t take life seriously okay, which is like the dream. But omg during finest girl she probably blushed so hard, but thought it was the funniest song ever and is probably gonna quote it to him when they’re making out or something. Is totally not expecting a sweet song okay, so she’s kinda caught off guard and a bit tipsy so it makes her emotional and tbh she’s probably tearing up bc IT’S SUCH A SWEET SONG AND NATE IS SO SWEET. Is probably so embarassed the entire time because he’s used to singing songs about terrorizing pussy and being dumb, and to sing something that’s actally real scares the shit out of him, so as soon as the song is over he just mumbles a ‘thank you’ and rushes out of the stage before he has a panic attack or somehting, and like, the band come over to tell him congratulations, but he has priorities so he just makes his way to the bar where Lydia is and smiles at her, all sweaty and blushing and kinda eyes her drink but you know, this is not the moment to get mad at her drinking and instead, this is the moment to kiss her, which is what he does, obvs. #bam

“A cool rockstar?” She asked, raising an eyebrow. “Show me the cool rockstar and I’ll consider making out with him.” Look she loves the Boners even if they’re dumb boys so she gos and hugs them and wishes them luck and all that nonsense before returning back to Nate. “Are you nervous?”

Pouts again becaue wow harsh, but smiles as she talks to his friends and them pulls her to a corner when they go to finish setting up everything. “Nah. I don’t get nervous.” He says, obviously nervous. “You excited to hear our new songs?”

She places a soft kiss on his cheek, looking at him super serious like afterward. "You're going to be great, better than great actually. You're going to blow away all of the lame bands that exist in this town. And every girl in here will probably fall in love with you, but they better not try anything or I'll be one of those crazy girlfriends." Taking a deep breath, she smiles. "Of course I am! Especially if one is maybe possibly about me?"
