Embroidery kit sunflowers - not a drawing but oh well.
My drawing on page one (1) of the Reverse Coloring Book by Kendra Norton.
Silly flower. Testing gel pen over sharpie.
Time and Motion (2006)
This was the first dot/circle drawing I did, I started it in math class using a notecard they gave us.
I have new gel pens 😊✨
“Liminal Lines” - 560W bus to Westwood Village 7/6/17
First attempt at a reboot of an idea I had when I was a teen. I draw somewhat evenly spaced lines in a vehicle and allow it to naturally bump/alter the lines. A sort of collaborative seismograph of my traveling.
Wavy Lines - WIP?
I don’t know if I’ll ever finish these ones to be honest... I’m not sure why. They don’t feel done but I have no drive to work on them again. I think I just prefer my patterns to form naturally and this was me trying to force them.
X out - WIP
This is just X’s drawn over and over in varying size, I intend to fill it all in to be a consistent pattern eventually but in the mean time I kind of like the fluctuating feel it has. The damage to the paper up top was caused by a hungry snail that somehow found it’s way into my house.
Simple line scribble - anxiety induced
Lines
I have been drawing a lot of lines and dots, repeating the same movements on a paper and seeing whatever patterns arise. It’s a way of managing my anxiety and I find the natural imperfections combined with repetition to be strangely soothing.
These are both not really done? I usually like to fill the page… but the pen I used for the first one died and the one on the bottom I got angry with because a line ran into the one below.
Dots.
Penciled then inked over. I kind of like the pencil one way more... I also erased impatiently so it got crinkled. *sigh* This was based on a pic submitted to /r/redditgetsdrawn but that was a week ago and I couldn't find it to post it (though I didn't try very hard lol).
Little windblown tree doodle on my meeting notes
Hands.
This kind of just happened.
Another one done in FrenchGirls.
