so a few weeks back i went to a local flea market. of course, i grabbed some stickers, got portraits from amazing artists, and even found a charms bar—picked a few for my journal 🤍 not a jewelry girly so journals it is 😅 plus cookies too! my pocket was almost empty when i left, but my heart was full and happy~ 🙆🏻♀️💗

one month late but here’s my july cover page📓
💌 it’s been a while since i last posted here. life has just been so… tough. but i’m trying to enjoy the last few days of my break before the new semester starts.
life update? i took a pretty long break (unintentionally) from journaling. hmm, it just started to feel like a chore. i still wrote on some days, but not as much as i used to. eventually, i switched from the hobo cousin to the hobo cousin avec because the empty pages just frustrated me. 🙂↕️ anyway, i’m happy to say i’ve slowly found my way back. journaling doesn’t feel like a chore anymore and i just realized how much i’ve missed this quiet kind of joy.
i also want to be more active here. i’ve been meaning to share my july spreads, it’s just that haven’t finished editing [blurring] them yet. for the past weeks, i’ve been thinking of quitting instagram and focusing more here instead. i don’t know the exact words to say, but all i can say is that it feels easier to breathe here. anyway, i’ll be sharing more soon!
and if you’ve read this far, i hope the quiet moments find you gently.
maybe, one day, it won’t hurt quite as much. until then, i carry it. i must

Ever since I moved apartments, I’m consistent with journaling! Journaling helped me so much in many ways— I’m able to reflect and it helps me to keep grounded. Apart from this, I’m also happy to use my stickers when I journal which makes my journal spreads much nicer. 🙂↕️ I’m also happy to share that I finally quitted tiktok for over a month now. Imagine, I used to scroll and watch videos for hours… 🤯 Anyway, it’s probably one of the best decisions I’ve made this year because it helped me to have better mental clarity and to be more focused. Building habits can be so hard at first, but it’s amazing how small changes can lead to more focused days and clearer thoughts!
