Spent several hours going through your blog yesterday. So good lol 👌 TBH even as a kid, I was aware of & super annoyed at how OOC everyone is in GRev... But it was STILL my favourite season because my little TyKa-shipping heart was in overdrive the entire time ASDFGSGD

I think Grev actually had the worst writing of any season. I know I haven't seen the last half but holy shit whatever the last half has in store cant fix the cluster fuck of that first half

I mean V-force was a slog with a culmination of terrible writing but

Not so great. Yall will never make me like Tyson outside of the 2000 anime. He's not a "standard shonen protagonist" he's just a terribly written asshole tbh lmao. Shonen protagonists stick up and fight for their friends and Tyson yelled and berated them for literally 2 seasons straight

I also really do not want to watch that Kai vs Tyson match because I guarantee it will be the stupidest thing I've ever seen im sure LOOOOL

G-Revolution fucking robbed us. It didn't have half the quality of the original series. They didn't write a sequel, they copy/pasted old teams without even understanding them, they didn't even consider how they could have evolved and what could their current problems be. And they nerfed everyone else to the ground to make the precious four shine, which... is not lesson we learn from the original beyblade...

I've watched G-Revolution once... when it aired here in Italy. I still have to find the courage to watch it (and the time to write rants about it...)

I wouldn’t even say they made the precious four shine, seeing how Ray and Max got royally screwed or glossed over. (Hiro and Tysoon repeatedly saying/insinuating Ray’s a piece of garbage, basically, and seen as nothing but an obstacle in Tyson’s way. Max losing to Tyson because Tyson had no power left to do a galaxy storm but somehow had the power to transform Max’s gravity well into a galaxy storm??? Also you can’t fucking riDE A GRAVITY WELL LIKE A WAVE. IT’S GRAVITY.) I mean Max and Ray didn’t get it as bad as the majority of the returning S1 cast ofc but it’s still real bad lmao.  I cry for V-Force and especially G-Revs wasted potential so bad
