With how weird people have been towards Jey over the last few years, he might rarely ever post again now that he’s been on this social media lockdown for almost 2 months. Even with him not posting, people are still finding ways to hate and taking their weird comments to Jimmy’s instagram as if that doesn’t scream obsessed and unemployed.
It's screaming parasocial jealousy. They wish they were the ones he was with and are screaming, crying, throwing up about it. Plain and simple.
I hope we get a segment between the usos and solo next monday because there’s so much story with them that’s barely been touched on. Jimmy hasn’t whooped his ass enough for being the reason that he had to sit on the shelf for 6 months, betraying him and aligning with roman in June 2023, and cheating him out of the US title last year.
Jey’s a little more complicated because there isn’t as much beef between him and solo. Obviously solo cost him the undisputed title and tribal chief status, but there’s not much besides that. However, solo’s character is very similiar to 2023-24 jey. They both got over when their families abandoned them and then the crowds loved them and pushed for opportunities. The difference between solo and jey is that jey saw the entire movie to the end. He’s seen the heights of popularity and the hell it brings when people decide they don’t like you anymore. He could want to save solo from dealing with all of that before it takes over him the way it did to jey. However much they want to pull from the real life shit (stalking, obsessive hate tweeting, threats, etc) is up to them, but it’d make for a great story!
I think there was a little of that. With Solo mentioning all of the things Jey has done on his own since leaving the Bloodline. It's also not lost on me that when Jey confronted Solo in 2024, that Solo said he always wanted Jey with him. He kicked Jimmy out, he saw Roman as unfit after Mania 40. So it stands to reason that for Solo, he does see something in Jey that he doesn't see in everyone else.
I also think for Jey, he can see the up and down reception that Solo has had since leaving Roman's shadow. The same people cheering him now are the same people who were chanting "Fuck you, Solo!" at every show and during every promo. Blaming him for ruining Cody's first title reign. Saying he sucks and downing him the same way they do Jey now. It wouldn't be far-fetched for Jey to see the bigger picture and know that fan support is fleeting and based on narrative instead of actual support. And also the fact that once Solo is actually rewarded, the same people will turn on him. Because that's how wrestling fans work.
Solo and Jimmy definitely have unfinished business that I'd like to see addressed. I still feel like no one should've taken that title off Solo except Jimmy and it's a shame that it didn't work out that way.
As for Roman and Jacob, I've seen the theories that Solo and Jacob will team up and to me, that doesn't make sense. For one, no one made Jacob approach Roman. He did that on his own. He also decided to act a fool and got jumped for it. Jacob brought all of this on himself. Jimmy and Jey warned him and he didn't listen. He should've just challenged Cody like Jimmy told him to. As for Solo, Jacob turned on Solo. Why would Solo try and save someone who turned their back on him? Does that make sense? It doesn't make sense to me.
Cheers 🥂 to there being too many Samoans!. I can't wait for more to join in the near future 💯😜
Haters loooove to see more coming 😜
I've been seeing a lot of rumored articles online saying El Grande will be the one to face Roman and I'm just like "HELL NO!!!!"
1: That would be such a slap in the face for actual luchadors like Penta, Rey Fenix and the others
2: I don't want the haters to win because you know they'll have a field day if El Grande is the one to win.
3: I want Penta to win!!!
That's the thing, neither Dom or El Grande is in it, probably because they already have a title match coming up for the AAA Mega Championship.
Also, I agree, leave the tournament to actual luchadors and not white men cosplaying luchadors. I think putting El Grande in there would be very tone deaf.
Let us have our Lucha Bros match and then right into Penta vs. Roman. Much better outcome, to me.

Jimmy's reaction to Solo losing to Jey 😆.
wwe raw. 10.8.26.
I don’t know shit about Zilla, but seeing people are blaming Roman for him being here is crazy.
Ain’t y’all the ones who’s been yelling for him to be in WWE? Last I heard he doesn’t even want to be in the Bloodline’s business, he wants to be his own man, and not just as Umaga’s son. And he’s in NXT away from the Bloodline at the moment. I’m not gonna sit here and say he’s never gonna be involved in the Bloodline b/c let’s be fr, but RIGHT NOW that isn’t a problem so why are we bitchin’ about it like it is?
It being normalized and an easy way to get content clicks by hating on the Anoai/Fatu's is so corny. People are so hung up on them being in "family business" that it almost makes me wonder...
Is it that there are too many "nepo babies" or that people never expected for a POC wrestling family to see this much success and they don't think they deserve it? Because most wrestling families have been white and I've never heard of them receiving this much hate.
There's always gonna be a Fatu waiting around the corner.
Ahh, I'm so sick of the fake wrestling fans. Pushing that Jey fell off mess again after everyone just lost their mind about him in KOTR. Everybody needs to stfu at this point.
