GUESS WHAT GUYS I FOUND US SOME NEW NIGHTMARE FUEL!!!

Yes, that is indeed L'Angine in their first, most horrifying iteration! Klek with giant neon turquoise-blue eyeballs! Khn setting off some sort of primal terror that was hidden deep within my brain! His movements somehow viscerally frightening! Surely this is some sort of ritual they perform before slaughtering a human for meat.

The lighting oversaturating the colors makes it feel like a fever dream. The setting is artificial and squalid. I feel like I've been exposed to tetanus just from viewing this. A claustrophobic slaughterhouse with no hope of escape. I! Hate! It! Here!

This tune is kind of a bop though.

I like it. More noticeably microtonal or at least more obviously not-Western-sounding to my ears.

So the event advertised here was Angine de Poitrine's second ever show, at Le Café du Clocher in Alma, Quebec (in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean area). The full video is here, on the event's Facebook page. The non-Angine stuff is from the other two bands, Gras Trance and Surf rock unusual fantasy (SRUF).

I'm glad they molted and became cute and handsome and will no longer haunt my dreams.
