3. What's a secret passion of theirs?

Hmm... It's not very secret, but he enjoys engineering and invention; he loves making stuff.

16. Do they have a "lucky" item?

I think his sword. There was nothing he could bring from his time —anything that wasn't essential was not placed on the ship where he was in cryostasis—, so he got sort of attached to the sword as his ally (which is why he calls M "my blade").

26. What do they love about their friends?

Their bravery, how they push through despite their fear. Their dedication to the company and to her. Their intelligence, whether it is more analytical or more practical/quick-witted. Sometimes, when it applies, they way that they follow her and let her lead.

28. What makes them feel safe?

Stability, I'd say, alongside having means of protection. If the company is not in any trouble, and if money is not lacking, then she's at peace. And, as long as she's got a way to defend herself —weapons, tech, words, her men, and obviously her biotics—, then she's usually feeling safe.

i just like a caretaker with good intentions upsetting whumpee more and either feeling guilty about their phrasing or not knowing what they said wrong at all.

I'm thinking of a Malevolent AU for M, and she and Yellow would make such a good duo. She'd treat him much better tha Arthur did (thus allowing him to be more like John, probably). They'd keep the other humble (in his perspective, M is just a lowly, honour-less(?) mercenary; in her perspective, this guy who claims to be a powerful monarch is stuck with her and with no possibility of escaping (probably)); but they're also capable of hyping each other up — particularly when Yellow has got more power as The King, and M's PMC is more established. Either way, you wouldn't want to cross their path.

1_ What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?

Both of them can get restless quite quickly if they've got nothing to do. However, TSK, being a knight, has practiced more patience, so she can last maybe one hour more (which is not much haha).

3_ How do they put themselves to bed at night (reading, singing, thinking?)

The thinkers...

TSK tends to think (there's much to think about and try to remember), read, or write in her journal. If there is someone to watch over, she might fall asleep doing just that (if she can sleep in such a situation). M, on the other hand, tends to think. A lot.

Thank you for the ask! I'm feeling most inspired about TSK (Twin Sun Knight, my King In Yellow OC) right now, so I'll answer for her.

OC QUESTIONS

13_ What color do they think they look best in? Do they actually look best in that color?

I think she believes she looks good in yellow and/or black — which is true, somewhat! She definitely looks good in black; in yellow, slightly: it doesn't entirely fit her colour profile (she's very pale, with dark eyes and dark hair).

14_ What animal do they fear most?

I never considered this! I suppose she'd fear any hostile sea creatures in particular — mostly because maneuvering her sword underwater would be difficult, and it would be deprived of its strongest ability (fire).

B) What inspired you to create them?

It started when, shortly after watching "Searching For A World That Doesn't Exist" (and getting into TKIY), I saw roleplay blogs for The King In Yellow here on Tumblr; I wanted a character to interact with them, and so, I created her, with the sign-off of "☀️" for her asks.

H) What trait do you admire most?

I'd say her bravery. Considering all the circumstances of her life, she's very brave and smart, and continues to be so; for her King, and for her friends (which vary depending on the version).

In the setting of the story in which he appears, I think he's dependent on the technology he brought with him. Eventually, he comes to understand the current cycle's technology, but even then, he's not a perfectly specialised engineer, and there are things he cannot recreate (for example, he would struggle with recreating his synthesised rations, since he's not specialised in chemistry).

Regarding something he has lost: well, everything. His family, his people, his planet, all his contemporaries. The Reapers took everything, and he knows —he knew, from the moment he accepted to be "sent" into the future generations— that he could never hope to have it back. Sometimes, he has indulged in projecting his own memories, envisioning them to submerge himself into that world that no longer exists for him.

If M were to play any video game console, which would she play? Are there any specific game genres or series that she would enjoy?

In the Mass Effect universe, I don't recall there being any mention of game consoles, where it seems the standard gaming platform is the Omni-tool; so, she'd most likely use that. However, if given the chance to use one from our time, I think she'd like a classic PlayStation 3 or other 7th gen console. She'd also like to try out current VR games, as well!

Regarding genres, she likes third-person shooters, puzzle games, and perhaps an MMORPG that caught her attention.

If I possessed any creativity, I would write a MGSV fanfic separated in 2 acts, where the fist act would be normal, and the second would be a tragedy (the end of the Diamond Dogs, maybe). Between these two acts, there would be an object of obsession that brings them to ruin (the nukes).
