You know, given that Mandalorians
Don’t care about gender
Are big on adoption
Implied to view attraction through the lense of character
they probably don’t view courting/dating through a gender/sexuality spectrum. Mandalorians probably view courting/dating through a romantic spectrum instead. They probably have words for someone who is aromantic to someone who has multiple loves.
While doing some messaging with @crispyjenkins we discussed some ideas for possible Mando'a in regards to a romance spectrum.
I decided to go with kar'ta which means heart as the ‘root’ word since kar'talyir is the verb for love in Mando'a (though it means ‘to know, to hold in one’s heart).
Sol'karta - means “one heart” for aromantics. A play off of the Mandalorian Marriage vow “we are one when together, we are one when apart” to imply the person is one whole by themselves.
Aran'karta - means “guarded heart”. Someone who is demiromantic or cautious about love.
Ori'karta - means “big heart”. For polyromantics. The idea being a bigger heart has more room to hold love for others.
Tenn'karta - means “open heart”. Someone who falls in love easily.
Anyone who wants to discuss other terms or different Mando'a choices are welcomed to chime in.

Outlander: Honestly, I don’t even play an active role in my life. Shit just happens and I’m like oh this is what we’re doing now
And the boys.
Did a couple ship memes with @officialmchanzo for our babes! Here’s the ladies.
Sith Warrior: In light of what you did for me, you can hug me for four to five seconds
Vette: FORTY FIVE SECONDS?!?
Sith Warrior: No! Four to five seconds!
Vette: Too late!!!

Controversial opinion, perhaps: I don't want Lana Beniko to ever go light side or convert to the Jedi. From a character perspective, I really don't think it would be like her. She clearly learns about as much of the Force as she can, regardless of who it's from - she knows the Jedi doctrine and is familiar with Gnost-Dural's work; she knows about the Revanites, she knows the Order of Shasa, even; and when the PC is escaping from Zakuul in KOTFE, if you ask her, she rattles off enough about the Knights of Zakuul that makes it clear she knows about them too. Lana seems to have truly incorporated the idea of using the Force as she needs to. I think this is far more realistic than the LS GOOD DS BAD!! very rigid nonsense we find sometimes. She says she finds something about the Order of Revan, as it was before it went to the Murder Death Cult stage, appealing. She's pragmatic. She absolutely will kill people, but it doesn't appear to be out of any sadism, but pragmatism. If you run an Imperial Agent through KOTET she tells you she shut down the Intelligence brainwashing programs. If you leave Theron behind to die, she's not happy. Lana truly does fall into shades of grey to me - I think the fact that they gave her a look that rather resembles Dark I, rather than Dark V, is very telling. I think that is why Lana was pulled toward Odessen through the Force and why she feels like Odessen is home. She feels at peace there because she's not forced into that binary system. Personally, I think that as we move past Onslaught, Lana's main issues will be with a) anyone who has rejoined their old faction with a very dogmatic or extreme point of view; b) anyone trying to exterminate Sith or Imperials. She says in her emails she is relieved if you opt to keep the Alliance and not rejoin your faction. I personally think - and hope - that is the direction we go in with her. It would be absolutely obnoxious if she falls into the trope of the Fallen Woman Redeems Herself and becomes some suck-up Jedi. Nobody is asking for that for Scourge; it should not happen for Lana either. I think it's a powerful thing for the game to accept her as she is.
Doesn't seem very controversial; most Lana fans seem to like her as-is and the haters just want her gone altogether, regardless of alignment changes or whatever.
For my part, I enjoy her character. If she changes organically through the narrative (arguably, she already has- she has developed since her time with Arkous. Whether the changes are good or bad are subjective) then I can live with it.
Oh, there are some. Mostly seem to come from the same subset of fans who wish Lana smiled more and was more performatively 'feminine.' Before I closed asks I was getting messages from men (always men for some reason) asking/demanding that Lana should 'learn from' their characters and stop having Sith eyes and such in my fanfic. Or kill her and Viri off 'heroically.' Yep.
Plus there is that overwhelming narrative in Star Wars of conversion (which makes me uncomfortable because it seems like Christianity where they want everyone to get 'saved.') Of course other fans are free to feel how they want about it but I personally really hope they don't go there with either Lana or Scourge.
Senya: Are you having another depressive episode?
Arcann: Depressive episode?
Arcann: I'm having a depressive series and we're just on season one
Smuggler: No way that's true. As Skavak always says when he sees deodorant, "I'm not buying it."
Darth Nox: Hmm it's time to be unreasonably evil due to my traumatic past
Sith Inquisitor: I am like an onion with many layers and each one is insanity
Smuggler: *signs a legal document with a glitter gel pen*
